“I took my son shopping tonight and whilst there he wanted to eat in the cafe. He had an amazing Cod and chips cooked excellently. Well done to Ray (deputy manager?) for bringing the place up to scratch.”

“A nice spacious shop with a very good freezer section. Not the cheapest supermarket but they do stock things others don't. They have also kept their specialist counters unlike others.”

“I had quite a surprise at this Esso. Much to my surprise there's a Fried chicken franchise called 'Miss Millie's' operating within the shop. Now you can purchase 10 litres and 10 wings whenever you stop by. The chicken wasn't bad... kind of a cross between Simpson's and home fried chicken. Crispy but not particularly high on flavour. If you're familiar with the other franchise, nearby, Wicked Chicken. Might be better if fried in groundnut oil. Truly. According to the Box, Miss Millie's has been around since 1988. Yet, being a fried chicken aficionado, I can never recall having seen a 'Millie's' before, at least in this country. Nevertheless, the next time Esso are offering Nectar incentive points for petrol, I might top up myself with a few wings. At £1.50 per wing, I only wish the Millie's franchise offered Nectar points as well!”

“I would like to say a really big thankyou to tha customer service staff who go by the names Tracy and Nikji who went above and beyond their duties when I came to your store on the 26th march 2023. I had ,had my phone stolen on Brighton pier the day before and had been to Curry's to replace it. I needed a new PAYG sim card to last me till I got back home, they helped to set up the phone, register the sim and get me back online so I could keep in touch with my family, being 62 I'm new to this and I don't know what I would have done without them. “This M\\u0026S is part of the petrol station and so is fairly limited, but has a good selection for the size of the store. There's also a customer toilet which often isn't the case in petrol stations that are in the vicinity of a town.”
