The book token gift card has expired but the kind lady behind the till re-activated it for me & showed me where the grief section was. Her & the other lady were so kind, it was excellent service & really compassionate in a very stressful time for me”

“I am a big fan of this shop. The staff are friendly, there is a crazy amount of goods to look at and it always has a nice feel to the place as you browse around. As a guy I would not usually browse but I am happy just to have a look round without having a specific purchase in mind as there is such a wide variety.”

“This is an awesome shop! I have bought many things from over the years here, and they have all been excellent products! Just yesterday I bought myself a Conspiracy Theories book and a crossword book for my mum. The staff are always polite and there are some amazing deals in this shop. It is located in the middle of the The Beacon (arndale) which is extremely helpful. This is an extreme hotspot for kids as The Works sell latest trends and toys. Overall, this is an amazing shop in a perfect location.”

“Great place to get your essentials for the train journey. Great selection, as per Alan King's comment about playing £1 for tissues. Boo-hoo such a big baby. If you didn't want to pay for them; then dont. Whsmith has always been quite expensive; no differences there. You probs spend more money on your food etc then what you buy at the WHsmiths. Everyone else; ignore the negative comments. Shops at train station are always gonna cost more, ie coffee places.”

“I have only been into W.H.Smiths a few times and I have mostly got what I wanted to get but as its the only W.H.Smiths shop I know n it's right in the middle of the town centre so I don't often go to town but the prices are quite a bit expensive than some other shops but you have to go looking for them.”
