It's great to see such positive reviews for individual staff members, however, as a Bank, who have closed all but main town centre branches, the opening hours don't allow those of us who work 9-5 jobs to access the lovely staff. When I raised this with a member of the phone banking staff they could not come up with a solution other than a smart cash point which was 25 miles away, but as I needed a human to deal with, this wouldn't have helped, and they couldn't assist on the phone. When is anyone going to realise that in some circumstances a f2f, is the best way, and there needs to be more accessibility to branches that are open normal working hours (yes, I realise that this is unusual and old fashioned, hey, I'm a dinosaur) also for those who don't have access to a mobile, app, or computer!

Problem getting a large transfer made in sad circumstances. Nikki, the customer service lady at Eastbourne branch went over and beyond helping to get the transfer sorted and then when the fraud department stopped the payment, ringing them and helping to get the payment made and the account unfrozen. Nikki was very compassionate, helpful, friendly and approachable.

How is anyone possibly supposed to get to the bank if they work standard 9-3 hours like most places? It's ridiculous. There's no logic behind the opening hours.

Had the pleasure of visiting Eastbourne branch and had such wonderful service from Samantha. I came in to pay a bill and she showed me how to do this on the Barclays app, wow! Now I have been shown how to do this, it will make my life so much easier. Thank you so much for being so kind and patient with me.

It would be really nice if they put some kind of shade where the 2 machines are outside, as whenever the sun shines on them it is very difficult to see the screen

I visited Barclays in Eastbourne last Wednesday and was assisted by Margaret, who was incredibly helpful and informative. She took the time to clearly explain the different ways I could save, helping me understand what would work best for my situation. Margaret also spoke to me about the importance of life insurance in a way that was easy to understand and reassuring. I really appreciated her patience, knowledge, and friendly manner. She made what could have been a confusing appointment feel straightforward and empowering. Thank you, Margaret!

This morning I was greeted by the lovely Nikki who assisted me with a problem I had. Herself and her colleague Alison spent the time talking to me to help resolve the issue I was having. They were kind, approachable and reassuring. I would highly recommend.

I had to go into Barclays Bank eastbourne twice this week regarding a very important and sensitive banking issue and I was fortunate to have a lovely lady called Alison look after me and guide me through what needed doing.
Alison could not have been more helpful and more professional And made a difficult situation much more bearable for me with her vast knowledge and empathy too.
