“A series of unfortunate events: on Saturday 11th, while checking the spacesaver tyre (oooh - potholes) on my VW, I closed the door and the car locked with my keys inside.Options: a) panic, b) roadside assistance call out or c)a 5+ hour round trip for family to bring the space key.Option a) panic - after explaining the sorry saga to a staff member and with heartfelt apologies for also blocking the facilities for their customers I expected a generic ‘oh dear’.What was freely and quickly given was helpfulness (barrier was speedily put in place) and real kindness (that coffee on a cold day for a stranded motorist was so generous and appreciated).Option b) after being at a standstill for 2 hours, we were soon on the road again.So THANK YOU to the BP staff member for your amazing customer service.”
“Wonderfully friendly staff team in Eastbourne branch. Very professional and knowledgeable.I wasn't able to visit for a few years due their opening limitations during lockdown and my working hours.One of my visits coincided seeing an relative and friend. Im happy that no one seemed to mind a hug as we all have been through such a hard time during the pandemic... Always a pleasure to walk into this branch and I look forward to continue my future business with them.”

“Went into the HSBC branch in Eastbourne to try to set up access to the HSBC app.I haven't been able to do this near home as all my local HSBC branches have stopped trading.Lewis came over to me to see if he could help.The lad was absolutely fantastic, he was so patient with me, even when I was losing mine.He was with me for an hour helping me.Message to management look after him, he is good.”
“I wasn’t sure how to leave a review after a phone call to a staff from Barclays but he mentioned he’s in the Eastbourne branch. I spoke to Gary just now, his service was brilliant. He was so friendly and helped me to the best of his ability. I could really tell he was trying his best and he put in a lot of effort to help me. Thank you Gary!”
“well although it was not mcolls fault i could not put money on my electicity as there was no bar code so i came home phoned the company and they sent me some thing to my phone to show to make a payment and whilst at home the police rang they had reported me to them, apparently the man whoever he is as the same name as me however he is 40 im 76 ,so i went back to mcolls and i could not go in as deliverys are being made so i have to go back a 3rd time and im knackered .”

“Usually full at all times, rare to not be able to withdraw cash, if you can't its usually because of the company is awaiting a cash delivery to fill the machine. Please note, sainsburys have no control over the atm, any problems you might have, for example; card being 'swallowed up' you will need to contact your bank. Otherwise generally a good machine, does not give out £5 notes though.”

“A really enjoyable experience for a relaxing, delicious sunday lunch buffet. Highly recommend the freshly prepared selection of all our favourite Indian dishes. Even the young ones are catered for with nuggets and fries! Recommend you book your table then sit back and take in the great views over the harbour. We will definitely be returning asap.”
