The pictures speak louder than anything I could write!. My family is delighted with the results, but more importantly by our journey; after all it is a major investment and it needs to be in safe hands.Andy is meticulous, his advise, suggestions and attention to detail come from a solid understanding of the trade. We enjoyed the development of ideas, the design process and nothing was too much trouble in getting it right. He came to our home to review the design with us, he has a small home showroom area to review materials, which he allowed us to take home to consider.Installation was smooth, with other trades called in for electrics and quartz installation (Sussex Stone). Andy does the kitchen and appliance installation himself and coordinates the other trades. It needs to be right, so any installation issues were pragmatically and innovatively resolved.I was so close to going down the Wren Kitchens route, but Andy came across as a fair and considerate individual, so we took the plunge and haven't regretted a moment. Financially, the costs were comparable to what was quoted by Wren, but we got painted solid ash wood doors, Eggar cabinets to our choice of finish, Blum hinges, Haeberle lighting and so much more when compared to an MDF wrapped door and plain white cabinets proposed from Wren's Infinity plus range. We love our kitchen that Andy designed for/with us. He has been a wonderful kitchen designer and fitter. He has been creative, adaptable, honest and kind. He has also been very patient whilst we have had major building work. He has found a solution to every challenge, but has also been fantastic with design, colours, lighting and every aspect of the kitchen and has ensured every single detail is considered and done well. Spice shelves, oil trays, sink sizes and materials, spaces for chopping boards, tea towel rail, have all been considered and incorporated, and no wasted space or quick filler panels. If you want a straightforward 'off the shelf kitchen' with a minimum of effort, then Andy is not for you. If you want to work closely with your kitchen designer and fitter and plan it out carefully, have high quality cupboards, doors, hinges, dustbins and pretty much any colours, designs and combinations and be able to adjust as you go along, then Andy is definitely the right person. But also, Andy is incredibly reasonably priced, as our the high quality products he sources to essentially end up with a pretty much bespoke kitchen at not much greater cost than many of the high street ones.

Extremely happy with my new kitchen.Andy is a friendly guy who really listened to what I wanted, helped to adjust the plan to be as practical as possible and the kitchen is exactly how I had visualised. The quality of the kitchen is high and everyone has complimented me on how wonderful it looks. The electrician and plasterer who worked with him to do our kitchen were really friendly and hard working and also done a faultless job. Couldn't fault any aspect of the kitchen at all and would highly recommend Andy to anyone considering a new kitchen!

High quality work ...Andy persevered with what turned into a tricky installation due to poor original installation of the kitchen. Andy re-visited to ensure that the work was completed to the highest possible standard. He was persevering, tidy, conscientious, polite and a good problem solving attitude. My neighbour was so impressed when she let Andy in to our property she asked for his number too.Highly Recommended, we will not hesitate to use you again.

Andy installed my kitchen (and bathroom in fact) five years ago and we have stayed in touch. His workmanship is excellent and attention to detail unfailing. Andy's experience in kitchen design and materials was an enormous help to me, in particular as I wasn't there during the project. My kitchen is a delight now as it was when first installed. I would certainly recommend Andy Austen Kitchens.

I can thoroughly recommend Andy as both a thoughtful kitchen designer and a skilled and reliable fitter. He turned a vision of a matt graphite and gloss white handleless kitchen into exactly what was hoped for. As others have stated, Andy actually cares about your particular job. He won't just do what is easiest and cheapest for him; he'll think about the best solution, research what is available and possible, and will always update you on the process. Andy is always positive about the job and his charges are very reasonable when compared to the service offered. We were lucky to find him.
