Really great location on the seafront but unfortunately the hotel and the rooms are pretty dated & ours stank of fresh paint and had some fittings falling off the doors and a really small shower cubicle in the toilet. Also check in was painfully slow and the price paid was far too high for what it

Alexandra Hotel offers a convenient location, but the high price tag doesn't quite match the small room size. Additionally, a disappointing experience with a consistently cold shower on the third floor left much to be desired.
