We have often been to The Nutmeg Tree, the food is good, the staff are very responsive and it is nice to sit in the garden. Unfortunately our visit this week, (we had booked a table for lunch in the garden) was spoilt by the constant yapping of a dog which the owner completely ignored. Our award winning Tearooms/Restaurant is set in the theme of the 1930's/40's and situated in the pretty village of Ditchling. We offer all day breakfasts, lunches, Afternoon teas, delicious cakes & hot and cold beverages. Our beautiful courtyard garden is perfect for sunny days to catch up with friends & family.
We are also licensed and have some delicious local wines plus the infamous Ditchling Gin!
We are dog friendly and have a safe cycle store to leave bikes.
Please note that during the Summer months roast dinners will only be served on Sundays.
Our Full Afternoon Teas also need to be booked at least 24hrs ahead as everything is made fresh to order.
Booking is also advised at the weekends.
