Wow! Staff were amazingly helpful. ( we visited with guest in powered wheelchair - easy to enter and exit ). Such a pleasant experience. Food was absolutely gorgeous. Great portions and so very tasty!

Been here several times and always enjoyed it, unfortunately today i didn't. The food has definitely dropped in quality. They have cheaper burgers on a different menu on Tuesday but these didn't have cheese or onion rings so opted for the Berwick cheeseburger. Arrived looking forward to a beer in the garden at around 6.30pm on a Saturday. Got here and find they have A4 print outs on all the doors stating closed for a private event. Spoke to staff who where quite inflexible. Nothing we could find on their social media to say pub closed all day. No other options in the area so... read full comment
Beautiful pub set nestled in the South Downs, close to Arlington resivoir and other attractions. Serving a large selection of wines, gins and beers. Great Pub food and breakfast served every day. Berwick train station is adjacent to the pub with good access routes from Brighton, lewes & Eastbourne. Large Car park at rear and Cafe open from 8am. The perfect destination for any occasion.
