My elderly neighbour locked herself out of her house today. Called five different 'emergency' locksmiths - no one was available! Finally called Thomas Locksmiths, a lovely gentleman (sorry i didnt ask his name) arrived just over 20 minutes later and unlocked the door. He also checked the lock was working inside and out to reassure my neighbour there was nothing wrong with the lock. Excellent service and thank you again to the lovely man who came over.

Locked myself out my flat late Sunday evening without my phone too, had to walk to a friends to get help.My letting agent doesn't have a out of hours number, so called a few locksmiths. The quote from here was £175 +VAT, which was more than twice anyone else. It would be more decent to decline if they don't want to help, rather than try their luck quoting extortionate prices to people in a difficult situation.

I had some keys made for antique furniture with missing keys. I just sent the locks and in a few days they were back, serviced and with new keys cut from vintage blanks. All super-friendly and great value.

Hung up the phone when I called in need. Was not willing to help unless I paid double for calling anti social hours. Claims they are 24 hours but clearly not.
