Really disappointed with the way I was treated at the Brighton Sports Direct store. I came in with an issue, and the staff member I spoke to flat-out told me they couldn?t do anything for me. No attempt to help, no effort to listen ? just a dismissive attitude that made it clear they weren?t interested in customer service.
Thankfully, I didn?t let it slide. I escalated the situation and contacted head office directly. After raising a formal complaint, I eventually received a £30 voucher (the price of the shoes in question) along with a written apology. That resolution only came because I pushed for it, not because the store did the right thing from the start.
I?m sharing this review to say: don?t accept poor service. If you know you?re in the right, speak up and escalate ? because clearly, some stores won?t do the right thing unless they?re forced to.

Don't be fooled by the cheap prices, what I mean is, the branded items Nike, Adidas etc are value for money. The items like Karrimor etc are not really value for money but are convenient to buy instead of hunting around for what you want. The store could do with having more staff around to help out. Any tops I wanted to try I just took my shirt off and tried them on in front of the mirror. My one gripe is, I would like to hear English being spoken between the till staff when serving customers, and just because your first language is not English, you can learn to say hello and thank you.

No Star ? Never Going Back
I don?t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was truly upsetting. I returned to the Brighton Sports Direct store because a pair of shoes I had bought had ripped after an unreasonably short amount of time. I came in simply expecting some support or at least a fair conversation.
Instead, I was met with laughter and mockery. A staff member, who wasn?t even wearing a name badge, laughed at me in front of my fiancé, when I explained the situation. When I calmly asked for her name, she responded with, ?Why do you need it?? ? which felt shockingly rude and completely unprofessional.
What should have been a simple request for help turned into a humiliating experience that genuinely ruined our day. We left feeling hurt, dismissed, and completely disrespected. I?ve never been treated so poorly by store staff before, and it?s not something I?ll forget.
Kindness and basic respect cost nothing ? sadly, both were missing here. I will not be returning.

Rude staff and terrible customer service.
Visited the store and was treated with complete disrespect. Laughing at customers and refusing to help is not how anyone should be treated. Very disappointing experience ? customer service at its absolute worst.

A million bucks for anyone able to get them to pick up the phone when you call them on the number mentioned on google. If that number is wrong, given this is such a big store with a large footprint, management should treat this with priority and get the number corrected.
For context, I am an unfortunate customer who decided to place an online order exceeding £100 on their website and did a click and collect at this Brighton store. As per their rules, they should give you a £5 voucher when you collect your order exceeding £100, which I never got. A bit annoying. I was told to contact customer care, who clearly did not care. They just said contact the store. So, I felt like a ping pong ball being tossed around for fun and all this for a £5 voucher, which I should have been given by default.
I visited their store, spend almost half hour when I had to beg them to look into the issue, as if this was my fault in the first place. The staff called IT department and after a further 15mins, was told that I shall be getting the voucher emailed to me within 1-2 hrs.
It's been over a day, no email whatsoever. I have raised a ticket and emailed
[email protected], no response. I feel pushed to simply let go of this £5 voucher as this is simply NOT WORTH IT.
Got to admit, this is definitely FRUSTRATING.

?Shoe guy? seems to be purposefully rude. Wilful, or not, the fact remains. All your chav supplies rudely served to you under one roof. Horrible, especially shoe guy.

When you give 70% off, this price should be 20.99. Not 29.99. Please note.
