Dan & Harry came to fit a new bathroom window today. Great guys, professional, polite, kind and tidy. They've been brilliant and done an amazing job. Even managed to problem-solve an issue they weren't responsible for. Genuinely lovely guys with hearts of gold.So grateful to you. Thanks again. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Replacement patio doors. The job was carried out efficiently and in a professional manner. All walkways to the job were covered and the room left completely clean. Excellent job by two competent and friendly fitters - who fixed our ill-fitting front door for us as a bonus! Highly recommended.

Nathan and Matthew (Matt) were super friendly and professional with our install. Put our worries at ease straight away and were able to complete the job whilst also having a smile on their face. They came on Wednesday the 3rd morning and were right on time. Would recommend them to anyone and they are a credit to the company!

I have recently used Shaws of Brighton to replace two French doors and two glass roof panels at the back of my house. The company has been very efficient in every department. Nathan and Mat Wood Fitters completed the installation and were extremely professional and efficient. I was particularly happy with their attention to detail and willingness to go beyond the original proposal to make sure the job was completed to their satisfaction.

We had a conservatory built by another company and the roof leaked from day 1. Although we called them back to fix it, after numerous attempts it still leaked and although they would promise to come back when we phoned they wouldn't turn up.Eventually we got Shaws to replace the roof and they did a fantastic job and the new roof looks so much nicer than the original one. We wished we had got shaws to build the whole conservatory but hindsight is a wonderful thing.If you are thinking of having some work done we can't recommend Shaws enough, a great service and lovely finished product.Thank you Lee and all the team.As a footnote the roof had a small leak when it was first installed and we called Shaws who came out very quickly and rectified the problem and it hasn't leaked since and we have had some very heavy downpours.

I had three windows replaced from timber to double glazing. Nathan and Mat had to return a second time to finish one window due to old plasterwork falling down and were very helpful each time!

A brick had been thrown through my kitchen window. Shaws came out measured ordered and got replacement toughened glass within two weeks. The two men who came to fit it were pleasant speedy and cleared up. Highly recommend this firm

After a visit to measure up for a new door, I heard nothing back. Chased for a brochure of doors, and finally got one via email after 3 weeks. Advisded them what I wanted weeks ago - again, no reply. Obviously they have too much business and don't action every customer order. It's a wonder they're in business if they can let orders come in and not complete a sale. Will therefore go elsewhere.

Shaws set light to our carpet.My partner and I have planned to get double-glazing fitted for several windows in our property, starting with the bedroom for the baby we were expecting. After our experience with Shaws we will be looking elsewhere for the rest of the work.When the builders came they somehow managed to ignite the carpet in the room. They were nice guys and incredibly apologetic, saying something like this had never happened before. Shaws promised to sort the issue out as soon as possible and replace the carpet. They cut out the section of the carpet which had burnt so they could match it and arrange for the same, or a similar carpet to be fitted. So far so good, it seemed a reasonable mistake.However, then Shaws told us they would not be able to get the carpet fitted before the 8th of August. This would have been way too close to when our baby was born, and would not have left us time to prepare the room. It turned out they wanted to use a carpet fitter they were friendly with (presumably to keep their costs down) and this was the best availability they had. They assured us that we would not be able to find someone to do the job quicker.My 8-month pregnant wife then had to do the calling around herself to get the problem sorted. She was able to find a carpet fitter, and they got the job done professionally and quickly. Shaws agreed to take the cost of their invoice off our bill and reduced our bill for the inconvenience... by a whole £20! They also said they would send us a gift card as an apology. Nice.After paying the bill, we waited a week, but the documents and gift card did not come. We chased this up, asking for our documents, and were assured that these had been posted. We waited another week and emailed to inquire about why the documents had not been posted and got a very angry email in response, complaining about how hard they are working.It seems odd that Shaws are so busy that they can't make good when they have made a mistake. The builders were lovely guys and the window we've had fitted is fine but the customer service from the office has been dreadful and we've been caused an awful lot of stress and been made to feel like a pest when we are the ones who've been severely inconvenienced by their mistake.

Don?t appreciate your staff blocking my driveway and was left there all day and night meaning I couldn?t use my driveway spoke to the owner very rude and won?t move the vehicle

It?s hard to see a company that used to be so good fall so low ??my father actually recommend them to me back in the day but he has now seen online evidence of how bad they become!Do yourself a favour burn your money on lottery tickets rather than endure the customer service of 2023
