Pleasant local. Friendly and welcoming service and nice vibe. Shame there's not more cask ale (just the one when I went) but worth a visit. Garden a lovely spot on a sunny day.

We recently had a large family and friends gathering at the Saint George's Inn. We cannot thank Charlie, Dan, Nick, Jess and all the team enough for all the care, professionalism and support they provided to make the day so, so special. From the fantastic food, the wonderful ale, the playlist to decorating the room, nothing was too much trouble. This pub with its lovely garden is a hidden gem in the heart of Kemptown run by the best team! Thanks again - S Williams and family

Being the place like it is, it is very overpriced! I paid £12.20 for a pint of beer and a bottle of sol! This place is off my list!

The roasts are just divine, so tasty and perfectly cooked. I had the pork which was so tender and melting in the mouth! My vegetarian friend loved his veggie wellington so much, he said it's the best roast he ever had, I would agree with this. But the best of all was the gravy, OMG this gravy was to die for, and there was lots of it! Hats off to the chef! The pub is super cosy with a lovely staff. Strongly recommended for a Sunday roast. They also have a lovely garden with lots of covered and heated sits.
