The deafening bell that randomly blares as you?re going about your shopping?scaring the life out of you for no reason other than to add to the already terrible experience?is honestly enough for a negative review on its own. We still use it because, well, it?s the only option around. But if a Tesco popped up next door, this Sainsbury?s wouldn?t last five minutes.
If you visit during a period where they have terrible staff (you either get all or nothing with this outlet) you're really going to have a bad time.

Vicious pricing with little availability of own brand products in favour of the hugely inflated prices of branded versions. Frequently out of stock of basic items.

I only go in now if I'm stuck for something. The harassing security guards are a thing so it's definitely not you. It's them. I was followed out of the store and into the car park on one occasion and accused of shoplifting although I had the receipt in my hand. Always get a receipt. Meanwhile the substance misuers frequently go on shoplifting sprees without challenge. I'm surprised that no one who has a written review has mentioned the stench from the vomitorium which doubles as the planter in the car park. The prices are extortionate and the merchandising is the worst it has been in four long years. I'm all for lobbying Waitrose to open a 'Little Waitrose' franchise nearby. Preston Park Sainsbury's local is terrible.

The hipster Sainsbury's of Brighton, like any other S Local, full of good products, just a shame about the hipsters ;)

I used to not mind how expensive this shop is because there's nothing else around and it was at least clean and friendly but it's been filthy recently, especially the self serve tills.
If you don't have a better experience in the more expensive supermarkets why shop there! Rather travel to the cheaper alternatives now

Just when you thought this branch couldn't get any more annoying, management have decided to pair their penchant for never stocking anything useful with a massive, pointless reorganisation. Obviously milk and yoghurt don't belong together, idiots, it's frubes with burgers, milk with lager! Good luck finding anything ever again. When will supermarkets get the message that this won't magically make us buy kitchen tongs we didn't want, it's just aggravating.
Thanks you utter cretins, now I can spend 15 minutes instead of the usual 2 searching in vain for rice and eggs that I know you wazzocks haven't bothered getting in. Props to the poor staff having to put up with their bosses' oversalaried goose brains.

It sells 4 different types of seeded brown bread but ony 1 wholemeal loaf which is 'hovis' a brand I dont like. Do Sainsbury bake an own brand wholemeal loaf? If so ease sell it.

What a place! Words almost do not do this emporium of joy justice? the sheer dizzying euphoria I experience when shopping in this delightful shop is beyond words.
The shelves always contain a plenitude of wonders from around the world that never fail to sadden even the darkest day. This cornucopia is simply unrivalled.
And the staff, oh the staff, this is the apotheosis of this particular shoppe; it is hard not to be carried away to ethereal plains when one experiences their first class customer service. The levels of customer care are unparalleled in these lands.
Damon and Sarah in particular are bastions of unclouded joy whose smiles and care could charm Moriarty himself (who I hear also frequents this Sainsbury?s often).
All in all, your life will only be enhanced by this heavenly experience, don?t delay any further - it is gelignite.
