I didnt have id for redbull and couldnt buy it which is fine, i know people have to do their job.
However, staff don't have to go out of their way to be nasty (the curly ginger girl). I told her my age when she was asking for id, she grabbed the drink and walked away.
I was walking out when I heard her mocking me, saying my age in a mocking tone. When I asked her why she was doing that, she lied and said oh I'm just telling my manager over the headset why I didnt serve you. You don't have to be nice to customers, but you also don't have to be a horrible person. Please find a job with no human interaction or work on social skills.

I am the manager of a shop next door and I shop here almost every day. Today on leaving an alarm went off. The very rude security guard asked me to open my bag. I refused and told him if he suspected me of stealing I would accompany him to check the cctv and to call the manger . With that he said GO. Appalling service.

My god, what awful staff. I purchased an energy drink at the self-checkout till which is an age-restricted item. One of the employees clearly saw I needed assistance as she started her way towards me, but then stopped to have a 3 minute chat with her colleague about her weekend. She then proceeds to rudely ask me for ID to which I reply I don't have it on me (I have multiple tattoos). She says it's store policy and then just walks away! I understand you have to check but surely my tattoos are a confirmation that I'm over 16 years old? Additionally, I've bought energy drinks from here multiple times in the last week and have never been asked for ID? Store policy, sure, but at least be consistent

Walked through the door on Monday evening and was forcefully removed by the security guard. Unsure as to why I needed to be grabbed and shoved out of the shop, politely asking for me to leave would have done if I had been causing a problem, which I hadn?t!! Why he wanted to kick us out of the shop, I don?t know, as all we were looking to buy was a bottle of water.
Some kids came into the shop at the same time as us, so why were we all kicked out? We were clearly not the same age or part of their group, even after saying so, he wouldn?t let us enter the shop.

Personally I hate having to get attention of staff stocking shelves when early and need the kiosk, I know not staff fault, but it's just awkward and never used to be a thing (I'm only ever here early kn way to work)

Hi. Tonight I had a car accident, I was in panic and was searching bandages, so very politely asked about bandages and the cashier lady (Indian or Pakistani race) was staring at me I had tried to find bandages but I was dizzy and in panicking didn't know the things I have got it pads. So I went and paid , during leaving the place I had recon it is pad and back to the cashier but she was with her colleagues and was laughing behind me it was very rude and painful because my was bleeding but she made joke. Very rude and very unacceptable. I put Thier pads on the recycle bin. Now I'm very disappointed of humanities. What kind creatures and monsters I faced ? I'm still at shocked.

Senior female manager was unnecessarily rude upon brief visit to Sainsbury's today - (10/05/24 - 18:35ish). Also mouldy food on the shelves.
I went in briefly for ingredients to make a ham salad. Whilst I was at the till scanning, I noticed that the two packs of tomatoes I had picked up were full of mould and were unusable. I informed the employee working behind the till about the issue, then went away for just a very few brief seconds to swap the item.
Upon my return, I found my items relocated to a nearby trolley by the senior, who also left an unfamiliar receipt behind on the till. Assuming it was a misplaced item, I placed the receipt in the trolley she was working with.
The manager confronted me quite abrubtively in front of customers and staff in store about how the trolly was not a bin and how I shouldn't have put the receipt there. I was scolded for not putting it into what was 'supposedly' the bin - which was a little card box box sitting discreetly behind the back of the tills. The senior told me that I should have. informed a member of staff if I were leaving my groceries at the till - something which I had already done.
Meanwhile, I was scanning my items, but my till was also having issues and was not scanning items properly. The senior staff member was more concerned in scolding me rather than helping fix the issue. I wanted to get out of there as quick as possible so I tried using the till next to it. The manager then started to pick my items up and down as I was paying, telling me I was scanning them wrong (which I wasn't?).
After the manager was finished handling my groceries, I scanned the items as quickly as I could and walked out. Upon leaving I was told I was not allowed back in the store. I wouldn't want to shop there anyway.
I was left in Sainsburys, standing there, being scolded for a receipt that was not even mine.

There is ONE member of staff in the store with only self service tills. This is not adequate. When I asked to speak with a manager, the member of staff dismissed this, and said she doesn?t deal with recruitment. I did eventually speak with a manager who says she has spoken to a senior manager, but, they do it listen. There will be no staff in supermarkets in 2 to 5 years time!

Today?s I have witness the worst, a costumer insulting a member of staff behind his back, let me remind that women that works on the side of the street in an office and comes everyday to buy 1 single pastry. If you ever go again to that store and insulte any staff I will personally remove you from that store you are a vile ugly woman and should be put in your place, that store is a small but very busy, they only have a few staff members that are willing to work there, and for someone to come and insult them, that?s a NO full stop. You are not happy go somewhere else the world doesn?t need ugly people like you
