The coffee is good, lovely cakes but what really makes it is the staff and how cheerful and friendly they are. I was here with my Mum who had to use a wheelchair and the staff couldn?t have been more helpful in getting us seated and served.

Often go to Rushfields cafe for coffee or lunch but must say on our last visit the coffee was quite frankly awful. It was bitter and the frothy milk was more or less non existent. I think the mature lady on drink making duties was either stressed because they were busy or having a bad day. The menu needs a serious revamp as it?s very limited and has effectively been the same for many years. It strikes you as somewhere who seems satisfied to cater for its regulars but could easily expand the choices with a little imagination.

We went for brunch and I had the full breakfast. It was one of the best in the area. Prime quality sausage, bacon and properly cooked mushroom. I couldn?t fault any of it. I will certainly be going again.

I got myself a money plant & had the most amazing welcome from the owner... the packaging is quality, and I will be going back for more plants... she has a really good range of healthy plants for all your needs.. always good to support local business... Best of luck on your adventure

Bad service, bad decor, bad dilapidated toilets. Lots of staff but no one to take your order ! Very unprofessional? we left the caffe and had a wonderful lunch elsewhere.

Third time I've been here to eat. I go to the garden centre now just for the food, specifically the bacon bap. Think it's the best I've ever had. Not sure how you can improve on it. Chips were perfect and Sausage bap was also good (but not as good as the Bacon). Even the ketchup is classy, no Heinz here! 11 out of 10.

We visited Rushfields Garden Centre (twice in same week) - for walk around the garden centre, followed by 'brunch' and 'lunch'. On both occasions, we were served by extremely polite team members, nothing was too much trouble - especially for me (in a wheelchair) and wife (being Gluten intolerant). When we next return to mid-Sussex, we will be re-visiting Rushfields Garden Centre and the Cafe. Anyone visiting the local area, we highly recommend you visit this location!!

Waitress in cafe was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. She went to great lengths to explain items on the menu and portionsizes. She also made sure we had necessary extra plates. So sorry we didn't get her name. A great experience.

We often go to Rushfeilds for shopping in the farm shop, as it has a great selection of food and drink etc. We then usually end up in the cafe. The service is customer friendly and fairly quick. One thing that they should fix is when eating in their outside section is that bloody sliding door that people and staff open and close. Its a heavy metal door. It is really noisy and disrupting when its being opened and closed constantly by staff and customers. I am sure they could get something better and quieter. Other than that great place.

Mindless service - waitress comes along to tell you where to seat. You then wait 10 minutes for a different waitress to take your order. Oh well, I suppose that 'rules are rules. :

We had a lovely lunch , reasonably priced with very friendly and efficient service . The shop is brilliant .Great place to visit .
