Joel and his team were fantastic! We visited for our daughters 16th birthday on Christmas Eve and Joel and his team could not be more accommodating, fitted us in when the restaurant was busy even though we were a large party. Joel even went to the trouble of giving a small gift and a card. Food was great too. Thanks again Joel for a memorable time !!

Christmas Feast at Pizza Express, Brighton Marina
I visited Pizza Express at Brighton Marina this evening and was delighted by the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
I arrived a bit earlier than expected, but the staff were incredibly accommodating and happy to seat me right away?such a lovely touch to start the evening.
I decided to try their Christmas festive menu, offering two courses for £19.95.
For starters i opted for the Dough Balls in Blankets, which were wonderfully fluffy and perfectly crispy, served with a rich, honey and mustard dip. A comforting, indulgent start to my meal!
For the main, i went with the Mushroom & Truffle Romana Pizza. The pizza had a beautiful, crispy thin crust and was topped with a rich mushroom and truffle combination that was simply delicious?savory, creamy, and full of flavor. It was hard not to devour it in record time!
To drink, i had the Pomegranate Mimosa, which was the perfect refreshing touch to the meal. The slightly tangy, fruity flavor balanced beautifully with the richness of the pizza.
I was so hungry that i forgot to take pictures of the food (it really was that good!), but rest assured, it was an absolutely satisfying and festive dining experience.
Highly recommend if you?re looking for a warm and festive atmosphere by the marina, with excellent service and delicious food.

Everything that?s wrong with the UK today is right here. Arrived at 9pm to ask for table. 15-20 free tables, approx 4 or 5 occupied with customers and at least 3 members of staff that i saw and was told that I couldn?t have a table as they were short staffed. Had to give them 1 star as I couldn?t rate them lower.

Let's start with this: I love pizza ! And I've also visited several branches of Pizza Express.
However, the one in Brighton Marina is my worst experience so far. The good: Ellie provided a great service. She was polite, helpful, all in all someone you would like to be served by anytime.
The bed - and unfortunately the most important that even a great service cannot compensate - was the food. The daughballs were dry, the pizza was COLD?!?! and the pasta was about ok-ish (not something I would get again. And the time it took to get our food delivered to the table was waaaay too long
And all thi, on a Sunday afternoon when the restaurant was half full......

Gone downhill, staff did not seem interested. Food took ages to come out, nobody cleared our plates or come to check on us. Feel it's overpriced for what you get.

We have eaten here on several occasions and been very happy. Tonight was the exception , food was very average , starter was not cleared before we received our mains, then only half of our table was cleared before leaving. The staff appeared disinterested and inattentive . We will not be returning.

Food quality is consistently great. Restaurant is always clean & staff are always welcoming. Recommend the mozerella sticks, pollo adastra, spinach and ricotta cannellini & honeycomb slice. Our server Mac was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. He made the experience even better by showing such positive regard to us, despite the busy restaurant!

Lovely atmosphere for dinner at the Marina. I recommend the chicken calzone and the mozzarella sticks - delicious! Our server Liam was attentive and very accommodating, continually checked in through our meal. Thank you!

Tried to eat here last weekend before going to the cinema. Was told by the girl on the door that we wouldn?t have time as there were delays on food due to being short-staffed. We told her we had over an hour but she insisted we wouldn?t have time. When we looked in there was at most 6 tables eating, with 3 waiting staff and 3 kitchen staff on. Is this really short staffed? Not going back.
