Ordered from Papa John's Preston Road in Brighton. Food was left in the Checking and Cutting status for over 30 minutes - basically sat on the side wishing for a delivery driver. Pizzas and sides were cold when delivered.
Papa John's have taken to using Uber for delivery, a change which has resulted in a much slower delivery and cold food as a result.
This wasn't the first time this has happened to us, but have had enough now and decided to leave a review accordingly.
I did complain to the branch, but the manager simply offered a free pizza next time (much less than the two pizzas and two sides that were cold), and said that delivery wasn't their problem!!!

Sent me dairy ice cream when I ordered non dairy, lucky I'm not allergic. Use Uber delivery that put the pin at a completely different address aswell

Use Uber to deliver, they don't have their own drivers. This means you are guaranteed a late and stone cold pizza. If you don't mind a slow delivery and cold pizza there are much cheaper options than Papa Johns.
We ordered direct to try and ensure hot food delivered quickly, but we're farmed out to Uber without us being told at time of order. Will use other chains who use their own drivers and deliver hot pizza in 30 minutes.

40 minute wait on order. Order came cold. Missing dips we paid for, when asked the guy on the phone said they passed the delivery to Uber. Paid £16 for two missing products and a cold pizza. Guy on the phone was slow as hell, told me couldn?t give me a refund without his manger present. Why wasn?t there a manger present? Maybe then products wouldn?t be missed. First and last time ordering with them.

THIS STORE WONT REFUND ME MY £30
Pizza turned up completely squashed and inedible. The manager said 2 days for a refund but after 2 days he said it takes 7! It's now been 7 and no refund. head office are no better. They've asked me to prove various things and provide photos which I have but are now saying I cant get e refund without a receipt which I wasn't issued as I refused the delivery.

This place used to be sooo good then it went bad I stopped ordering till my friend told me that it got different recently and they have a new owner the food was good the staff is lovely

Ordered a supposedly "large" vegan pizza via deliveroo and I received a normal/medium size item that arrived cold even though I only live three minutes away so they didn't bother to leave the food somewhere hot while waiting for the driver to come pick it up. The pizza itself cost £28 with one extra topping and came to a total of £32 including charges but despite the ambitious price it tasted like a kebab shop pizza, both the dough and the cheese were below average. I suggest they taste their own pizza and decide whether it is worth £30 or not, I'm certainly not paying anywhere near that again, I can buy a better one off a supermarket shelf for a fraction of that price.

Papa Johns perston road is the best place to eat pizza ? in Brighton
Despite the negative reviews I was really impressed with the vegan and vegetarian pizzas I got here. I thought they were absolutely delicious, indeed, I was very surprised at how good they were. Easily the best vegan and vegetarian pizzas I've had... will be coming again!

Don't know the name of the server but he was a delight, helped me get all the extra cheese I wanted and I've got the exact junk food pizza I needed right now. Thank you to him very much!
