This is meant to be a 4/5 star hotel, nowwhere near it!!!!! 1st I had to buy extra clothing hangers because they have no spares!!!!!!!! There was no room service at all, i had to go downstairs to get some wine and that seemed to be a major problem, next the room was very tired the carpet was covered in stains (shake and vac) might have helped, they only service the rooms every 3 days and requests for water and t bags seemed to take for ever, the lack of privacy in the room when having to use the toilet was unacceptable, ie a net curtain, not enough storage and lack of power sockets did not help, the plus point is the location very central and everything easy to get too, i have stayed in a lot of hotels in this area but im afraid i cannot recommend it

A bit rough around the edges in regards to the furniture in the room. But the vibe of the place is spot on. Very noisy. Lovely friendly staff

For the price. I wouldn?t bother. The pictures look nothing like the actual hotel. The lift and rooms work by a 6 digit code that you have to tap into a very temporary key pad which isn?t good if you suffer from you arthritis like I do & I'm only in my 20s or if your aren?t good with numbers , it?s a touch screen so god knows how you?d get on if your vision wasn?t good. I asked for an extra pillow before arriving due to being very heavily pregnant and didn?t get that. There isn?t a kettle , fridge or anything like that provided as it states. There is air con and a tv in the room. I wouldn?t say the rooms are nice at all , the bathroom floor is a green bubble type. Reminded us of a swimming pool.

As the title describes, this was another perfect stay for me and my fiancée at My Brighton. Both my fiancée & I have stayed in this hotel three times previously in the standard rooms which I may add are very lovely, clean and comfortable, I decided as an early anniversary surprise I would book the Jade Room and I?m so pleased I did. We stayed in room 371 (25th to 28th August), as with our previous stays, the room was very clean, modern and 100% worth the extra money (Would definitely recommend this room if you?re planning a romantic weekend away or celebrating an anniversary). As these are more ?premium rooms? it was lovely to have the option at the end of the day to either have a shower or a bath, even though the room had floor to ceiling windows, I never felt like our privacy was invaded and these windows made the room feel very bright, light and airy. The hotel does offer parking at a small fee, however when you compare this cost to other parking fees around the city it does make sense to pay for this optional extra and to save the time looking or trying to book parking elsewhere, the reception who checked us out this morning was kind enough to allow us to park for a couple of hours extra free of charge which was really appreciated. As with all previous visits, the staff have always been very professional, friendly and are always available to help with any questions. Location wise the hotel is a 10 minute walk to the beach/sea/pier, a 5 minute walk to the North Laines and a 2 minute walk to Kensington Gardens along with plenty of other little independent shops, bars and restaurants. If you?re looking for somewhere to stay in Brighton, I 100% can recommend this hotel and will definitely look to book it and the same room when I return on my next visit. Thank you all once again for a lovely time!

I stayed here alone for one night while visiting Brighton and seeing friends. The room was clean but not cosy. It felt very vacuous and I didn?t enjoy the decor however this is just personal taste. Staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Things to be aware of: The bathroom has no privacy as it?s in a little nook rather than an actual room. This was ok for me being alone but if I was on a getaway with someone I would be mortified! This hotel does not do proper room service even though booking.com says it does. The restaurant closes at 3pm and also there is no menu in the room. It?s fine not to do room service, but annoying when it was one of the reasons I booked. The hotel has a lively pub next door which has music pumping until 1am at the weekend. If your room is on the other side of the hotel you you may not hear it, but my room was right next to it so it was quite late before I managed to get to sleep. However the restaurant for breakfast was lovely, the food delicious and the staff so friendly and lovely. I would be keen to visit the restaurant again. Location is excellent but I wouldn?t stay here again because of the noise and because I think it?s overpriced for the comfort of the room.

Has the feel of a youth hostel. Whole place needs a refurb. Great location. Hotel parking was full so had to park a tel mom walk away which was fine as you do get a good discount for doing this. Rooms are very noisy and open plan bathroom area which is not very private. For the price it?s not great.

Enjoyed our stay (couple, no kids with us!). Fantastic location makes up for the rooms being a little tatty. The room was clean and the staff pleasant and helpful. Facilities are everything you need for a comfortable stay. We have stayed here a couple of times now and would do so again.

The mattress was super comfortable. I noticed from reception, walking through the corridor and lifts everywhere had modern, quirky vibes. The staff are so friendly, the car park was a bonus and breakfast added made all the difference ? mood lights and ?. Shower, complimentary stuff all good quality ? will be there again soon. A short walk by the shops and many restaurants, noticed mowgli...that's a must next time too.

Very friendly and helpdul Service personell but overall the hotel is hopelessly overpriced!! 240 GBP for one night in a freezing room with only a small window onto a wall? Really!Rooms: Styled to achieve a designer award for creative colouring with no fresh air, (some) mountings that were loose, and an air condition that remained cold and impervious to the setting.Walkability: Very central - still much too expansive!

This was once a great hotel but now it is far from its best. The place needs a good clean at the least but really needs a refurbishment. I have stayed here many times and noticed each time a decline in standards. My latest stay had me question the price and looking for alternatives. The location is great but remember you pay for this in the noise levels, especially on busy weekends...

Aircon didn?t work. Room 296 - AVOID We had a standard double room for one night only, fortunately! There was a large window which faced a white wall which was fine, but it didn?t open. The weather was very warm & muggy outside and where the Aircon didn?t work. It made the room, very stuffy and uncomfortably warm overnight. On our way out in the evening, we informed reception that the Aircon wasn?t working and they assured us they would have someone go and take a look at it. When we returned later that evening, there was a fan in the bedroom which had been put there by maintenance. If they know the Aircon isn?t working, they should either reduce the price of the room or move you because we found it very uncomfortable and were very glad to have only been there for one night. The location of the hotel is very good and is right in the middle of everything. The room was very quiet but since our last visit, 4 years ago it is now looking a little shabby in places; the dressing table was very chipped and tatty. There is a very nice coffee shop on site, but we did not use it this time. The Tesco shop opposite was quite handy. There is a disabled parking space immediately outside the building and lots of three hour parking spaces in the next road.

Aircon sadly didn?t work. Shower leaked & water went everywhere in the bathroom. Mattress was uncomfortable but the pillows were lovely and fluffy. Great central location. Reception staff very helpful. Room was clean but stains on carpet & chip to the desk under tv. Think it?s a little overpriced.

Clean secure and the staff are great. Breakfast delicious. I felt secure and safe and it was an excellent base to work from. Would come back on a leisure visit. Can absolutely recommend this fabulous hotel.

Beautiful quirky hotel.. lovely atmosphere..delicious breakfast perfect central location for the dome and bars. Very chilled... parking was very handy too. Staff were helpful and the guy behind the bar had great hair ?

Lovely place to stay for my daughters birthday the staff were wonderful. The rooms were amazing we had a fantastic time and would recommend to all. Lovely atmosphere hotel and area is local to everything.
