DON'T open an account with Llyods! I have been to this branch several times to try and open a student account as I didn't have a UCAS number and they have made the process impossible to the point where I have had to open an account with Nationwide instead (whose service was much better). There are two staff in the branch who do not seem to know what they're talking about. They told me I had to arrange an appointment and then told me I had to go to the Worthing branch as the Brighton branch couldn't do it!! I then had to cancel that as they had sent me the wrong information only to then try and rebook an appointment in which they told me I'd be called and never received one. Absolutely ridiculous!! You have lost a potential customer.

I had to go into a branch for a complex and lengthy transaction. Debbie was very helpful, patient, understanding and efficient and it has all gone smoothly.

You closed nearly all brunches and took a profit when everyone in the country faced difficulties... Now, just forget to tell the clients that you closed the brunch for renovation or whatever.
Will be nice if you at least pretend that normal people, which money you are kipping, deserve to know if you are open. ???

Want to leave this review specifically for the assistance one of the managers, Jonathan, offered us today with opening a bank account. I believe he was covering from another branch outside of Brighton but he was very polite, patient and guided us through the application carefully. Even though high street banking is somewhat dying that human touch is still essential at times.

Writing this review while queuing up for the second time to make the deposit.
The immediate deposit machine didn?t work so had to queue up second time at the cashiers desk.
Only one person serving, although there was other stuff available , created an enormous queue, and a huge hold up. My parking had expired in the meantime, never expected to spend 40 minutes just to make a deposit.
