Pretty useless pharmacy, having to wait half an hour for the pharmacist to tell you the medication a doctor has prescribed you is pretty poor. Especially when the next pharmacy you go to has absolutely no issue with the prescription and gets it to you straight away. Avoid.

I came to collect my prescription on Friday and had a very pleasant experience. The girls on the counter were very welcoming and helpful. The pharmacist was professional and friendly. The negative reviews on this page don?t reflect the excellent work this pharmacy does. Although I?ve had to wait long times in the past for my medicines, the service here now is second to none. They?re very prompt and efficient with customers. I am very pleased to see that all the staff seem to enjoy working here and have a great relationship with each other compared to before where most seemed stressed and down. Continue the good work for the community and thank you to all the staff.

Since the manger Paul left this pharmacy has gone down hill. Staff are rude and unorganised.

For several occasions this pharmacy let me down. Often they don't have the medication, or have only part of it which causes a series of extra work if you need one item urgently and the other is out of stock. Some of the staff serve customers in a professional manner, and some are even nice, but others are absolutely rude. Just today I had one of these wasting my time arguing that selling me a prescribed item is not a sale (???), clearly confusing the act of dispensing a prescribed item with a commercial transaction act; which is completely irrelevant to the issue, but she found it would be a good idea to argue about that with a client in distress because the medication was out of stock. These little details and the manner in which you de-escalate a situation with a client in distress always speaks volumes about a professional's quality. Not to mention that they charged me £9.65 for a Cetraben Ointment (which was prescribed and I pay for my prescriptions) that is sold much cheaper everywhere else, a good professional should have informed me of my options: that this product can be bought without prescription and that it would be cheaper. Adding up all the "out-of-stock" problems, waiting times and other issues I had with this pharmacy, I just changed my designated pharmacy to another one. This one won't move a finger in your favour.

I completely agree with the last review. They are so incompetent that, after many failed requests they finally made a delivery but with the wrong medication, having 2 labels on the bag with the address. They belonged to a patient with seizures...Made me go there in a lot of pain to be treated like I didn't have the right to complain. The girl had the guts to say that my prescription was booked to be delivered in 2 days( a Sunday) and that's why was mistaken!This is not the kind the job that you can afford to make mistakes!!!I rather have to walk in pain to another pharmacy than go back to this one.

Used to be the best pharmacy in this area a few years ago. The service now is shockingly slow and incompetent due to a disorganized mess with prescriptions. Sometimes medications that are not prepared in advance for collection requires patients to wait or visit the pharmacy multiple times.

This site is a shambles! I have been using this pharmacy for a year and the amount of times I have had to wait for up to an hour for medications that should be prepared for collection.Items constantly missed out requiring visiting the pharmacy sometimes multiple times in one day or over a couple of days for items that should have been on one prescription. The pharmacy have given me other people's medication with my own which is not acceptable. Do not use this pharmacy unless absolutely necessary.Edit:Firstly how dare you post my specific issues online. Are my details not covered under The Data Protection Act or GDPR?Secondly I returned to the pharmacy today to collect mine and my mums prescriptions and I was treated very poorly, I was asked to go around to where people collect there needles and other drugs and told to pick up my prescriptions from somewhere else, again I was not given everything that I had specifically asked for so I had to return again to the pharmacy to say that the item was missing. I have been trying to collect this item for my mum for over a week repeatedly going back to the pharmacy to ask for it but not receiving it. My original review was not in relation to the items which had an invalid digital signature, I was referring to the amount of times i have been to and from the pharmacy for prescriptions and I end up waiting nearly an hour and items are missed. in relation to the specific problem with the digital signature, the other Kamsons on Elm Grove said that they have seen this issue before but the Lewes Road branch had not.The purpose of my review was to expose the obvious issues that this pharmacy are having so that something can be changed. It was not meant to insult anyone personally and the fact that the pharmacy feels like i have been unfair shows what level of disrepair the pharmacy is in.

Ridiculously and painfully slow every time I come in. 40 mins waiting for a prescription, whether I?m the only one in here or there?s a small queue, EVERY TIME I come in, is insane. The man and woman on both sides of me were extremely frustrated and running late for appointments, having been here an additional 10 mins than i had. i definitely do not recommend going here, as this is not a one off experience.

The service here is shockingly slow and incompetent. They take nearly 2 weeks to deliver a prescription and have made me wait nearly an hour to pick up my prescription when I ordered it a week beforehand. I?ll be switching pharmacies as the service here is so poor.

They are now taking 4.days (6 days including a weekend) to deliver my prescriptions and have introduced a horrible call waiting service which they hardly answer (maybe have a system which tells you what number in the queue you are instead of endless music).Kamsons has obviously taken on too many deliveries over the lockdowns but now this is finished they need to cull their free delivery service and make it a priority only service for those with mobility issues or health conditions preventing them from collecting their prescriptions and not just available for everyone - maybe this is too much common sense? Either that or invest some of their profits into adding more drivers for 'free for all deliveries'.

Pretty reasonable and valuable service. In hard times the queue is long but simmers down quickly. Staff are nice and try their best.

I know they didn't need to be open on Easter Sunday, but they were ment to be open until 12 rushed down there as mum ran out of medication and really needs it, got there at 11:30 and there were already closed. Don't put a closing time of 12 if your are going to skive of work early and put people that need medication at risk because you can't be bothered to work your stated hours disgusting
