It?s pretty sad to say, these lot just make prices up as they go and rip people off. Had an account with them few years back closed because of the random prices they were adding on to the materials the decided to reopened the account again as have had a lot of work near by and to save driving I reopened the account again so can go and get bits I need. Sadly nothing has changed with these the guys there. Make prices up. Weber mesh/render mesh for 71.00 pound plus vat absolute rip off. Timber triple the price to other building suppliers, same with plaster boards and multi finish plaster. I would never ever recommend jewsons as a building supplier. Just because they will try and do anything to rip people off. And put pressure on us tradesmen to step the prices up on our clients because of building suppliers like jewsons. Sorry won?t come back again.

Wildly unhelpful. I rang to get help with a DIY issue and was told to ask a neighbour. Incredibly condescending and rude. WOMEN WHO ARE NOT EXPERTS IN TOOLS - AVOID THIS PLACE. You will be made to feel like an idiot. Find a hardware shop with helpful and friendly staff. This is not it.

Off the scale. Truly vile off the scale experience being ripped off by them.They even have their staff submitting conflict of interest reviews - they have one here from an area manager....Called in to pay Jewson directly - as trader (rogue as it transpired) due to leave UK for 3 weeks; they refused, forcing me to pay him all the while knowing he has no account with them and pays in cash.When it transpired he was under police investigation for defrauding a large and growing number of local people - Jewson, in writing, promised to send the 2K order if I put them in touch with the police officer. I duly did - and this took hours over 8/9 days of my time and energy.They shamelessly went ahead - refunding the rogue tradesman - and did not send the 2K order to me as stated in writing; knowing he is facing such serious allegations that the case has been 'escalated to Detective' status - it is of that gravitas. You couldn't make it up.Jewson monitor Trust Pilot non stop and try and remove the reviews; have sent police comms and Jewson emails to Trust Pilot - so they can no longer hide the truth. Jewson senior management assure you of action - then hide. Don't know how they can sleep at night...Maybe that's why their share price is dropping: the truth always outs doesn't it.....A large & growing number of builders & traders I speak with relay they do not like them so word of mouth is getting out as to their true colours.
