“Had the pleasure of a 2 night stay here and it is a fabulous hotel. The staff on arrival and throughout my stay were so attentive they actually caught me off guard when they asked how my journey was as not used to it. I stayed in room 102 and was absolutely how I hoped it would be with a gorgeous bath in the bed room, best not to leave anything around the sink in the wet room as the clue is in the name. Didn’t use the restaurant apart from breakfast as had other plans but the breakfast and staff were fantastic. Used the parking offered which is a real bonus to have the car so close by even though I didn’t use it as you can walk along the front to wherever you need to be in Brighton. All in all the hotel was as hoped for and I thank Richard and all the staff for a very peaceful stay.”
“Room 319 at the Grand Hotel, Brighton is one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in at this pricepoint. The hotel itself is an architectural gem, they don't build like this anymore. The interior designer responsible for room 319 deserves plaudits and awards. The service we have received from the street to our room, has been exemplary. My American wife, is on cloud nine, thank you to The Grand Hotel and the staff!”

“I’ve been here before and as usual the reception staff are great at ‘meet n greet’ all smiles and very helpful, I had a room at the front on the first floor very clean and a comfortable bed. The food served here is of a good standard and delicious variety at breakfast, a great start to the day. I recommend a stay here anytime.”
“Great location right next to the train station - you literally walk into the station and out the other side. Unfortunately, my Google maps failed to explain this, so it look me a while to find the hotel :) Check-in was swift and I was pleased to find out that I'm a gold member and got 10% off all food and drink. Nice breakfast with lots of options. Lovely sized room with a decent bathroom and very quiet. I'd definitely come back if I visited Brighton again.Walkability: 20 minutes to sea front”
“Excellent ribeye steak, full of flavour, cooked medium rare it has fabulous meat juices. This is a large lump of authentic meat so be prepared for some connective tissue, that is what the steak knife is for. The meat itself is tender and delicious.”
“For the price. I wouldn’t bother. The pictures look nothing like the actual hotel. The lift and rooms work by a 6 digit code that you have to tap into a very temporary key pad which isn’t good if you suffer from you arthritis like I do & I'm only in my 20s or if your aren’t good with numbers , it’s a touch screen so god knows how you’d get on if your vision wasn’t good. I asked for an extra pillow before arriving due to being very heavily pregnant and didn’t get that. There isn’t a kettle , fridge or anything like that provided as it states. There is air con and a tv in the room. I wouldn’t say the rooms are nice at all , the bathroom floor is a green bubble type. Reminded us of a swimming pool.”
“Ok it’s a premier inn. It’s in a concrete box. But it’s in the centre of Brighton. Everything you want in Brighton is in walking distance. Staff are always fantastic be in first thing in the morning or last thing at night. And it’s a premier inn so you know it’s got great rooms with a decent bed. I’ve stayed here quite a bit and it’s one of my favourites.”
“Our usual annual visit, this time in September, was pleasant enough. The location of this travelodge suffers somewhat from the nightclub across the road and it really matters which room you are booked into as to whether you get a good night's sleep or not. This time we were able to have rooms on the 6th floor, which faced out to sea and to the side rear of the building, which meant we were away from the noise. Slept very well. The breakfast is okay, but tends to get cold pretty quickly. Our main beef is with the rooms themselves - we had 'super rooms', but there was no cupboards and generally felt the room could have done with a makeover. The location, apart from the nightclub opposite, is very good, as it is very close to the seafront and near all attractions. We have stayed here quite a few times, so generally believe it is good value for money and offers an enjoyable stay.”
“My second stay in this older proeprty which is centrally located on Brighton seafront. I had booked a larger room with a seaview and terrace and was not disappointed - excelent value when compared to other Brighton hotels. The lobby had been refurbished since my last stay and offered a very nice cafe bar with extremely good service and a good choice of snacks - including takeaway pizzas for room consumption. Buffet brealkfast was very good.”
“Lovely hotel great staff Very welcoming would recommend perfectly situated though as with most Brighton hotels parking was a problem had to park in the train station and get a taxi to the hotel which was a pain”
“Although I have been to the Hotel du Vin on numerous occasions for drinks, last night was the first time I stayed there. It really is a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped. The bathroom was glorious and the bed was so comfy.
It was a haven.
I would like to thank Roberto, Eddie and Rufus for their professionalism, their kindness and care. It was greatly appreciated.”
