The staff at this hotel were so friendly and the hotel is ideally located for the beach and city centre, however AVOID ROOM ADUR. Scaffolding is currently erected around the room, which aside from impacting the aesthetic is a landing ground for pigeons and seagulls. We were awoken in the early hours by the birds jumping above our heads; it felt like someone was constantly knocking on the door. A trip that we hoped would provide some respite was actually one with a restless, constantly disturbed sleep! Such a shame. We were also twice charged for drinks we had vouchers for, so worth double checking your bills. It is a lovely hotel, but didn?t quite work out for us on this occasion.

Although I have been to the Hotel du Vin on numerous occasions for drinks, last night was the first time I stayed there. It really is a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped. The bathroom was glorious and the bed was so comfy.
It was a haven.
I would like to thank Roberto, Eddie and Rufus for their professionalism, their kindness and care. It was greatly appreciated.

Had a complaint upon checkout and was told a manager would be in touch - no follow-up what so ever.

Hotel du Vin Brighton was a delight from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us?and our chihuahua Humphrey?feel completely at home. Dinner in the courtyard was lovely, with quick, cheerful service and great food. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had some lovely extras?especially the complimentary Ferrero Rochers, which didn?t last long. Super dog-friendly and full of charm?we?ll definitely be back!

Not overly impressed. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Brighton that they really should up their game. The maitre d was extremely nice but the wait for food for very long and the chef apparently refused to serve the full menu because he was too busy with a large group. We ended up having to order from the small bar menu and the food was rather dry and uninteresting. Would not eat there again. Perhaps the hotel is better. So over all three stars. Five for the maitre d and two for the wait and the food.

Lovely old hotel tucked away just down a side street in Brighton. Attended friends wedding. Food was AMAZING.
Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms were lovely, deep bath, amazing showers very co portable beds but could do with a little bit more attention to detail. Couple stains on top cover on bed, big stains on carpets. Approx £250 per night I'd expect it to be spotless.

We stayed a night at Hotel du Vin.
The room was lovely, with an amazing Victorian bath tub in the room, super clean and had a very comfortable bed with gorgeous linen.
I gave our stay 2 stars only because in the morning we got awaken by building noise just outside the room.
The hotel is undergoing renovations at the moment therefore the use of hammers, electrical saws was happening just outside our room by 9am.
The hotel failed to let us know this in advance and also didn?t offer any compensation for the inconvenience caused.

Lovely friendly staff. A well stocked bar and knowledgeable bar staff. Great cocktails.
Well cooked food.
The rooms are clean, but its an old building so dont expect level floors.
