Had a large fish and chips and swapped the mushy peas for baked beans. Also ordered a latte coffee. Everything was fantastic otherthan had to buy an extra Expresso to add it to the Latte as it was tasteless. Also £2.69 for literally 3 spoons of beans was a con. Would go back though but would avoid the beans and coffee. Expensive for waht it was but service and atmosphere were really good.

Me and my partner ordered food from the takeaway part and we where the only people in there. It took over 20mins for our food to be sorted (imagine what it would be like when it?s busy) the staff where all over the place and seemed like they had no idea what they where doing. They even started arguing with each other at one point. Food was lovely and tasted great but just think the staff let the experience down.

I took a group of 45 there and thanks to their great organisation and service including pre-ordered meals everything worked out perfectly well! And by the way: really nice fish and chips ;-)

The lady who sat us at our table and served us was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The food was OK, glasses were dirty, chips were a bit dry.My daughter has an allergy to mustard and when our server showed me the allergen folder to check what was safe, I was very surprised to see a few red ticks for an ingredient but everything was yellow for may contain for every allergen which basically means for an allergy sufferer they rule out the whole menu straight away if you cannot take any risk of may contain.I was rather shocked for such a popular brand chain to have it listed like this with so many allergy sufferers today, they are really limiting their customers. Even though the chef did come over when we asked to speak with him he did manage to serve some chips that would be safe for her. We wouldn't be able to go back again, the allergen menu is not trustworthy.

One to miss , not something I ever expected to sayWell I feel totally robbed, went because of the name. Tables covered in plates and the place seemed souless. After placing our order and food was delivered the signs jumped out at you food was placid, chips just warm and fish I could have souled my shoes with. All gave the impression of being a reheated exercise. I commented to my wife if the chippy in our village who have been in the same family for 40 yers they would have been shut long ago. This strikes me as profit grabbing not what we have always been led to believe was HR's ethos. No interaction once put in front of you almost as they knew it would open up the issues. Three children out of the 12 of us on each childs plate had more chips than the adults. I am totally baffled by what I have seen and eaten let alone choke on the bill for food the local cat would poss give a miss on. Will I be back, Never ever again
