I joined Halfords Premium membership club today. Very reasonable fee, providing so many benefits. The staff at the Lewes Rd branch, Brighton (Jack and Sami) were brilliant. Extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Expert advice, professional, efficient and patient. Thank you. I look forward to enjoying many of the financial benefits.

Terrible backwards annoying badly designed barely functional website (just try using it from a customers pov!). Some great products and absolutely 1st class in store service at my local branch in Brighton.

Great experience recently having a dashcam fitted (and previously a bike for my child) after an online order.The staff in this store are really impressive, a level of customer service you don't often see these days.Julian who did the install went above and beyond, giving me a call when I first ordered to discuss what I'd need, and checking everything out with my slightly awkward car the week before the install. He then did everything he could to make the install happen on a weekend with some staff sickness, massively appreciated.100% recommended.

I've had a good experience with front of house customer service here with friendly and helpful staff members but when I have taken my bike for services it seems that everytime they try to add some unessasarry repairs. For example, got a new chain from them in September and 5 months later of moderate usage they try to claim I need a new chain due to wear. Once I challenged this the employee agreed with me and said they didn't know why their colleague had claimed I needed a new one. This is the second occasion something like this has happend but I imagine it might be common practice here to try and squeeze the most money out of people.

I think that the xmas period holiday arrangements are wrong for Halford staff - I still find them generally helpful; but I still would like the female staff member on the forecourt fix/fitting/repair to be asked if she would let a white old lady stand in the rain with her car under the tent for 10 minutes before simply informing her to go inside and ask for service, black people prefer to be treated equally, and as a black male elder I don't think I was yesterday.

Arrived on the 21st wanting 2 x Kids Bikes, roof bars and bike rack fitted to my car before xmas. Mike helped me source and build the right bikes, Julian talked to his manager to fit the car install job in for me, all done and ready fox xmas, despite the clear busyness and numerous complications. Clearly exceptional service here!

Refused to change an indicator bulb on my car. A job I was doing always in Halfords for the last 3 years. Today the lazy lady on the till called another lazy gentleman and they both decided not to do the job on my 22 years old car.A month ago they did, but not today.Unacceptable customer service.After all these years being a customer, today will be my last day in Halfords.

Great service, really friendly. I ordered a bike for my daughter for Xmas, the guys helping/serving me (zayne and guy with blue hair didn't catch his name) were really helpful, and noticed I worked in the NHS and put through my blue light card through when I'd forgotten I'd had it, thanks again.
