Lovely boutique that had brands one is not able to find elsewhere. The care that demonstrated their love for their work came through in every aspect of the store and service. I highly recommend visiting if one is looking for a pair of glasses.

What fantastic customer service from Carl, he went the extra mile fixing my sunglasses with no charge so I paid it forward by helping a homeless man in The Lanes .. amazing choice of frames to choose from too, I'll be back!

They offer such a unique and wonderful selection of frames, and the staff are absolutely angelic! Paula spent so much time trying to find the best glasses for me, and offered so much encouragement and support! The store is cosy and welcoming, and it truly offers such a heartwarming and lovely experience that I wouldn?t get anywhere else.

I had an eye test and bought a pair of glasses last week. This is definitely the best opticians/ glasses shop I?ve ever been to. Extremely helpful and nice staff. Great selection of frames. Really thorough eye test. My finished glasses feel very high quality and I?m really happy with the prescription. Honestly no room for improvement at this business. Thanks, Alex

Popped in to ask for some advice with a loose frame on my glasses as I am travelling overseas for a long period of time and had no opportunity to replace. The lady at the counter immediately assisted me and resolved the issue, no trouble. Thank you so much :)

I spent £950.00 here. Glasses - great. Eye TestImpressive . All co-workers were helpful and very pleasant.Such a pity that a woman Paula, I?d not met before, behaved in a most unpleasant manner towards her colleagues. She had an unseemly dispute over a discount I had been offered and said in front of me that she would blame him if some trouble resulted ( from whom ?). I hope this review will deter her in future :)

I'd been putting off buying new glasses for years because I find it hard to choose frames I really like. But Frames in the Lanes had such a good selection I was spoilt for choice. Their collection is so well curated there were several pairs I could have bought. I know now I should have visited sooner! Karl helped me choose & make sure I had the best frames & Paula helped with aftercare to make sure everything was just right. Strongly recommended if you want cool glasses & great service.

Incredibly friendly, attentive and knowledgeable front-of-house staff - Paula and Carl are absolute stars. The eye test itself was thorough, calming and reassuring. Bought lenses and frames that have not only drastically improved my vision, but have done wonders for my confidence too. Cannot recommend them more highly.
