Went there as it was on my way to an errand at the post office and since we're under lockdown I decided to combine them. Wouldn't accept debit card as my purchase was under £5 and they expected to use cash (which is quite dangerous in the pandemic situation). When I told them I'll just leave the products there and leave as I do not carry cash, they decided to charge me 50p for using a debit card.Only gave it another star cause it was convenient. But I think they should install some plastic screens as there's no protection for the shopkeeper

Its an off licence grocery store. Don't listen to moody whinging poor reviews. Those people need to moderate their attitude. Its all it needs too be friendly but mostly convenient.

They hide the price of you've purchased on the till. They have overcharged me loads of times and food has been out of date before. Avoid!!!! Goto the other shop on corner of Southhover much much better. Rude indifferent service as well.

For such a small shop they offer lots of different things from magazines, food essentials like milk, bread and butter, alcohol and much more so they have crammed it all in. Like many little shops in the area you wouldn't know it was there unless you lived close by or walked past it on the off chance. This shop is open early til 9 oclock everyday of the week so is a safe bet to be open whenever you need it to be really. The workers are a bit frosty but then again they are practically working in a cardboard box so I would be a bit frosty in their position.
