She kindly showed me how to apply (quickly, as I didn't have much time on the day and my morning routine is a squeeze!) a full face of natural style makeup. “We had a fantastic experience today with Laurie at the Brighton store. Having arrived early before the footfall, and chosen some items, my step daughter mentioned it was her first time buying at Lush. Laurie did a pampering demonstration on her, taking so much time to explain ingredients, products and her reasons for recommending them. She armed us both with samples and taught about choosing and wearing perfumes too, as well as creating a skincare routine. She was friendly, positive and warm, with a wonderful energy that was infectious. While there, another customer came and thanked her for the scalp care and help she received too. I have never had such a personalised shopping experience anywhere, nor met such a perfect reflection of the Lush brand! I could see what a connection she had with customers and other staff, and felt we could be friends in other circumstances! She instinctively knew when the shop was beginning to fill and wrapped it up with us very professionally so she could attend to other shoppers. “You could not ask for friendlier staff when you walk in, who don't only make you feel welcome but have the most expert knowledge on recommending products that suit you. As a gender non-conforming women, I was particularly pleased that I was not directed towards the gender stereotypical products. “What a special experience I had! Summer curated a truly unique experience for me, showing me gorgeous moisturizers, toners, cleansers, masks and more! I pretty much got an in-depth tour of the entire shop and she made sure to explain the products in great detail to me. Her conversation was lovely, and I finally settled on getting a milk cleanser and chamomile might mask, both of which smelled divine and felt even better.
