Very busy and well supported local supermarket. A bit higgledepiggledy inside but offers a good selection. Priced to meet the neighbourhood needs.Very friendly staff.In reply to the owners question regarding my 4* rating...my reason was based on one thing only. I'm a disabled pensioner who relies on a stroller for mobility, the shop has steps to the front and being a Monday evening, probably had 8-10 people doing shopping... this makes it difficult for me to use the stroller without interfering with others. So I had to leave the stroller outside and struggle with my balance inside.But on reflection I am happy to adjust my score to 5*. Again this is based on the fact that the owner is restricted by the design and layout of the building.

When into the store for the first time the other day and it was a shocker, the stores vibes was completely different that others I had been in, the staff were most friendliest iv ever had the chance to meet, it was a fast checkout as well, 100% the best store iv been to in Brighton since iv been in Brighton

Keith the owner is miserable and rude each and every time me or my partner shop in here. He gives the impression that he'd rather us shop elsewhere as having customers is obviously inconvenient for him. All other staff are great, particularly James.

Update: This shop refused entry to an exempt person, anyone with half a brain, who can read the guidance, can see this is discrimination. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and factually, ILLEGAL. Will be reporting to police.UPDATE: hate crime report has been submitted. Whilst stores have the right to refuse entry, it must not be for reasons such as discrimination against the disabled, which this store has openly admitted to. I suggest you brush up on your reading. Police will be in touch.I urge anyone who has been victimised by the staff at this store to submit a police report.

This shop is my godsend as I'm disabled and sometimes can't get out during the day.The prices and products are good and the staff are always very friendly .A special mention to Harriet who goes above and beyond to help.Always with a smile

Staff are great hours are great the only let down are the sandwiches as sandwiches maybe cheap but when you have 1 it shows why they are cheap and dry £3 and over sandwiches was ok and when big bites sandwiches was brought into the store they was so fresh and quality was amazing and selection was great I would even go as far as sailing even thou they was marked from £1&£1.59 I would of paid more as they are worth way more
