I can only praise this fantastic home care team. Communication is fantastic and all work or information is shared and watched. As I do not live local to my father I rely on this company and I really don't know how I would cope without them.Lynsey supervisor is fantastic with help and communication and has excellent ppl skills in every way.Her staff are incredible. Danielle is a team member and she has been a fantastic help to my father and never complains.This company is the best I have known of in every way. Positive response and excellent care of their clients.Thank you to everyone of the team for making my father safe and being excellent in all help given.Michelle Muscat x

I am a neighbour of a lady who uses your carers We both have drives and one carer in particular parks either on my.neighbours lawn or across my drive so I have to bump my car down the kerb On one occasion I asked her to move her car and she requested my keys !!!! Insinuating that I cannot drive Although my other complaints have been rectified things shouldn't have happened in the first place Cardboard boxes left my the bin Broom in the bin so the lid wouldn't close dirty masks and gloves on the ground

8.55 AM their car bumped into my bike at Seven Dials roundabout today 22nd of March 2023. The blonde driver just ignored (there was another passanger as well in the car) and tried to get away from the incident and ignored to stop and discuss. Dangerous driving by your staff.

I contacted the Manager Jacqueline Bazin at Coastal Home Care in Hove on 20.9.20 about a valid complaint I had about their service. I received a reply the following day from her saying my complaint had been forwarded to her Manager Neil Kentish. Today is the 13th October and have not received a response or acknowledgement of the complaint, I will now contact Social Services. If you have a relative that needs domiciliary care I would not recommend this agency due to their lack of response, especially at the so called Manager Neil Kentish. If he does not have the decency to reply to an email it does not give any confidence in their care. I am hoping after leaving this response they will reply to me.

I have to say a big Thank You to Jacqueline and her team, she has been wonderful with us.My father Brian has been looked after Costal care for several years as I am living in France, it was very difficult to know what really was going on with my father. Jacqueline has been keeping me up dated every Monday morning, so I can call the nurse or the GP when needed or when he had to go to hospital. We had that trusted genuine connection, it is quite rare...I just wanted say thank you again and how lucky my father was to be surrounded by people like you.

I am writing with heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude to your company, and all its staff but especially to the 4 main players Charlotte, Billie, Emma and Murry on the front line that spent time looking our dad.Words will not do justice to the level of professionalism, dedication and caring these guys gave when dealing with our dad. He was not always the most accommodating, but these 4 guys always managed cope with him and bring a shining light into our home.Their support and caring not only for dad but for all of us as a family was refreshing and unwavering, over the months they have been with us we had come to feel like they were part of the family, they would discretely deal with dads needs with total kindness and dignity at all time.We as a family cannot thank them personal enough for everything, they have done over the last 6 month and the support your company has given us.Just to say we all miss them in their professional standing and as the light they brought to a very difficult family time. Returning to care work, received thorough and detailed training with the client being at the centre of all learning. I am now feeling confident in taking the learned practices out in to the community to benefit others. Stu has a great energy for teaching and is clearly passionate about the industry.

I have been a client of coastal for around 5 years and do not understand some of the other reviews here.It seems that others experiences have been very different to mine.It is not perfect, what is? However they have always been very helpful to me and tried to oblige my requests where possible. Of course it is frustrating to not always get what you want but as with everything a bit of give and take goes a long way. Maybe I've been around long enough now to understand and to understand how things work and as I say, although it can sometimes be frustrating I appreciate that some days 4 or 5 carers may go off sick suddenly, or that cars break down and it is impossible to get to every call at 7.30 am!I have friends that have used other companies and it seems to me that I'm very lucky to be with coastal.I do really appreciate all they do for me.Around 3 years ago I had a very serious problem that occurred, and everything was dealt with by the book and with understanding.The problems that occur it seems to meare not a problem with coastal, but industry wide and I am very appreciative of the fact that I'm with coastal rather than some of the other companies out there.

Would give zero stars if possible. Terrible organisation - incapable of doing anything on a timely basis, constantly pass off responsibility, frequently do not return calls as promised and unable to provide a timetable for even the most basic of assessments. Utterly useless.

The worst home care company you can work for! Loads of empty promises at the beginning of employment then nothing but disappointment! If you get a contract then you must be lucky!
