This very busy shop is open til very late ( 11 pm)
, 7 days a weeks ? making it very handy when I finish work , on a late or weekend shift .
It?s true, it doesnt have much space inside.
It?s got lots of shelves and stock, which doesn?t leave much room for people or prams.
More space, less shelves might be an improvement.
But it stocks a good range and choice .
And the staff are absolutely lovely , very helpful and patience.
Saddly I have witnessed people (customers) bring very rude, / or abusive / threatening for no reason to staff. Which is unacceptable tbh.
The staff and security handled the situations very well but it?s sad that shop staff get treated with such rudeness by some members of the public, especially when they are trying to do their job.
Over all I think it?s a super convenient store with very friendly, helpful and patient staff .

I just want to say a big thank you to all the staff at co op. I often get delivery because I struggle to leave the house. All u lovely staff always choose the right replacements and pack my shopping safely. All your hard work is very much appreciated. I would be lost without you all. So thank you from the bottom of my heart

It feels like everybody in the store (customers and employees) just woke up from a long nap, and everything here costs more than it should

Terrible, tiny shop always running out of stock, I can't remember the last time it had everything I wanted. It's badly laid out, the staff are lovely but clearly overworked. One of the worst supermarkets in Brighton

Incredibly expensive, never any hot food, no salt & vinegar crisps for months.

Don?t bothering ordering from here, clearly can?t read any information they are given. Tell them to cancel the entire order if a certain item isn?t available but they just send the wrong one out after picking an alternative that you didn?t want or agree to. Moronic.

this coop has truly seen me at my best and worst, in my pyjamas and house mates shoes most of the time you know how it is, that pudding section is where i spend most of my disposable income sticky toffee pudding is my go to btw but the self check out is so loud sometimes why are you shouting?? anyway yeah this coop is just something i can always depend on, apart from when they didn?t have basil or vegetarian gravy

Really awful customer service this afternoon. Twice I was barged in front of by staff stocking shelves as I was just about to make a selection and they stood in front and turned their backs on me without any acknowledgement. Then the till member of staff failed to look me in the eye or acknowledge my existence, even when I said thank you after I?d taken my bag. Far too busy in conversation with another member of staff. If you want to be insulted as a customer, come here, if not, avoid the place. Management you need to get your staff into a charm school pretty damn quick. I won?t be back to find out if you do.

Horrible manager speaks so terribly to staff. I witnessed the harassment and bullying of a young member of staff. The Girl couldn?t have been more than 20 years of age, and she was so snide I could not believe it. She had a blonde bob but failed to get her name. This should be reported.

BOYCOTT PRICE GOUGERS. Over the last couple of years I've watched in horror as this store has doubled and tripled its prices but, hey, inflation, right? But I realised today that it's nothing of the sort.Today, their frozen pizzas are more expensive than the Pappa Johns next door. Can of chickpeas? £2. Same tin at Sainsburys two minutes up the road? 50p. The cheapest loaf of bread they had today was over £2, for a tiny microloaf. Same loaf at Sainsburys? 85p. One loaf was £4!! Same bread was available at Sainsburys for £1.15. And Sainsburys are hardly cheap either. It's insulting. How dare they rip off their customers like this, in a cost of living crisis? It's using inflation as cover to jack up prices to line their pockets and it's gone too far. And from a supposedly ethical company.I used to shop here three times a day because it was convenient but I'm scared to even work out how much extra money I've handed over to greedy Co-op bosses (CEO paypacket is £1m a year) but no more. I'll never shop here again and will encourage everyone I know to boycott them.
