Some staff are fine, some are just plain rude and incompetent.
The shop was probably better when it was a third the size, largely only because less people went in because they knew it was just so small.
Before, the tiny store was packed with items that most people likely won?t want or need, now the shop is three times the size, designed maybe by a computer with no orientation skills, packed with items most people likely won?t want or need, just more of them, and of course at least twice the price of other supermarkets, because of the convenience?
I understand the organisation somehow became hacked and destroyed their delivery mechanisms, but why weeks or months later are there still problems? Maybe they?re not charging customers enough money for their pleasant and convenient shopping experience?
If you want lots of options to buy alcohol you may find what you need - but isn?t alcoholism the reason staff need to be protected inside the new glass cage?
Please, please do better.

Tiny aisles clearly not designed for humans, made even worse by staff restocking the shelves using giant cages. Prices OK considering its location in a city centre largely devoid of useful things like grocery shops.

On the south eastern side of the coop there is an allie way which leads to mr beasts house if your ring on his doorbell dressed as a fury he will let you come in and give you free ps5s

Staff,One older female ,incredibly rude towards me , the bill was 1.10 I gave her 11 pounds , but she didn?t gave me balance 90 p back, when I asked the balance she shouted like What , Then I asked the bill and 90 p again then only she gave my balance money.. belong one star, please teach ur staffs some politeness and how to deal with customer

Since a recent refurbishment, this place has become a walk-in vending machine.
Dreadful design, cramped isles make for a stressful experience. Serving staff stand inside a dehumanising glass cage, which confronts you immediately when you walk into the store.
On a recent visit, a staff member was swearing loudly to another staff member in frustration about a stock delivery.
It has the same stocking issues as it always had. Running out of basic foodstuffs regularly makes it unreliable.
The manager of this store has appalling customer service skills. I have seen him become unnecessarily confrontational with a polite customer over the incorrect pricing of a product.
Dear Co Op, you need to start again.

Since they have renovated they have expanded the shop and put in self checkouts which is great but despite making it bigger they haven't tackled the issue of tiny aisles so its still stressful as anything trying to shop in there when you're all crammed in like a tin of sardines. I guess at least you no longer have to deal with staff having a chat to their mates on their headsets whilst they're serving you anymore.

i would give it 0 stars if i could
not once have i come in here and been greeted with what i wanted. All i wanted was a simple cheese sandwich and not a single one in sight, not even a sign for them. Disappointed and hurt is an understatement.
As a cheese sandwich connoisseur, i often talk about the co op simply cheese sandwich being one of my favourites i?ve ever had and my top choice so i?m sure you can understand the pain i endured not seeing it on the shelves
I?m now left hungry and distraught as this isn?t the first time this has happened
I keep giving this place another chance but I don?t think i can now bring myself to return.

Very good but small shop. Has most of the things that you need but not all brands. There's also a cash machine in store. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
