Sadly I couldn't give less than one star otherwise I would. To get to the branch is a 2 hour round trip inc parking and going in there. I simply wanted to find out if I needed an appointment for what I wanted or could it be done over the counter. Why do they give you a pbone number if no-one is going to answer it. Loads of tries from 9.30 onwards but phone just rings. No message re queues or any response at all. I guess they don't want my money or care.

but PSC along with 20 local groups working for Palestine (including 10 PSC branches) have had their bank accounts unilaterally closed by the Co-operative bank. The reason? The Co-op bank say they've changed their "risk appetite". Apparently Palestinian human rights are too "risky" for the Co-operative bank. This is disgusting for a so called ethical banking. I will have to think seriously about staying with you.

The Co-op Bank in Brighton is wonderful. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful, no matter who you are.
The staff on the phone helpline are just the same, ready to help with any problem we, the customers, might have, although it is one of the few banks, in my experience, that actually give you their local number to call also.
I've only been with them for 7 years, but would never change banks.
The big problem for me is that I am disabled and there is only the one branch, very far from my home.
That's the only drawback.
Please open more branches in Portslade and Hove !!!
