This morning I went for a coffee on my way to work. I usually do not take away coffee, but Caffè Nero is always on my top list. On the plus side, Octopus Energy rewarded me with a voucher for a free coffee; however, for some reason, the QR code did not work, and the two baristas tried to help, one more than the other, but with no success. I resigned myself and decided to pay, but I wanted to use the Caffè Nero app for the first time, but I was unsure where the QR code was, so I asked for help, which I kindly received from the staff member who had not served me. This is when the barista who had served me rudely said that I had to hurry up because I was making a queue. So I told him to be more professional and not to treat clients like that. He then replied that it was not his fault if I could not figure out how vouchers work. At that point, I decided to leave without taking my coffee. This happened on December 3rd around 8:30 am, and the man in question is a white Spaniard. I hope the manager takes action.

usually love this cafe Nero, nice to have a coffee & chill out .. today however the staff , a guy and woman were SO SO loud ... how the hell can you have a relaxing coffee ?

Coffee was 7/10 but the conition of the bathroom is kind of disturbing, after all it is a good choice to warm yourself up

Had a generous mug of hot coffee and a chocolate donut. Added bonus, the place has sockets to charge laptops and phones. However, the closing staff is extremely rude.

Coffee was ok, not mixed properly. Food tasted slightly undercooked/not warmed up enough. Tables left with cups on for ages. Service was bad, the women gave us our food by standing about 6 foot away and stretching out to give it us. Pigeons coming in and out, even pooing on the floor and nothing was done about it, even when staff were told. Not a good place!

Great place to sit and watch Brighton life, inside or out.The only negative is that there is only one toilet, and the queue can be quite long, especially when non customers all come in to use it.
