Outstanding professionalism at the optometrist section. For a second time, due to additional care and rechecking of something that didn?t look right they picked up a more serious issue. Everyone from the junior assistants to the optometrists take time and care. Been going for years. Superb.

Pharmacy- just moved and having difficulty logging into my online portal for prescriptions. I asked nicely if an emergency prescription could be issued for a repeat depression tablet as I have not slept for days, to be met by ?use your local walk in centre for help?. Boots are my usual provider and I have checked online that this could be done and my local pharmacy have done this for me before! Shame on boots for being so dismissive and hope one day when you ask for help you are met with such un-helpfulness. The lady did not want to even try help, left me waiting in the queue when no other customers were there. Where has people compassion gone? Why be in a job to help people and not want to help?

Tried to use the pharmacy first service for my son's sore ear. They told me they couldn't look in his ears despite the website stating they can. Went to another local pharmacy and they did as needed, checked his ears and prescribed drops. If Boots can't offer the service it needs to be removed from the website.

We have visited many boots stores in the UK and nowhere did we experience this unprofessional staff behaviour. We were checking out some products and two of the staff were just hovering around us and staring at us as if we were trying to steal something. It felt really humiliating and racist. Whenever we come looking for products which is shown in stock online and unavailable in the store when we travel hours and arrive at the store, the staff always say that most of their products are being shoplifted. Well, maybe if they actually do their jobs and treat every customer equally and not target the wrong crowd, the actual thieves might not escape. Such a shameful behaviour from the staff especially the two ladies making us feel so inferior and hovering over us as if we were about to run away with something. There was a robbery and that was them robbing us of our smooth and pleasant experience at Boots.

The problem.with our Boots is that it's desperate to stay relevant. Sadly it's lost already . It's a far cry from it's roots. The lower shop is a horrible experience loud music piped & no staff anywhere. It's now a women's shop with rows & rows of so much. The newly designed chemist & other bit, ot sure how to describe it, feels.like.an afterthought tucked away in the corner taking up less space than before like an inconvenience! .
Where on earth is the men's stuff? family stuff? Baby stuff ? & just a browse experience other than fake.eyelashes & fake tans .
Oh dear , another inconvenience..its tucked upstairs. Boots used to stock lovely baby clothes . Instead of being a place of dependable quality it scaled everything back .. so sad.
It's just a downward spiral.

I am aware that there's an ongoing concern about stealing in stores & I am also aware of the need to have security personnel in retail outlets. However, I had a bad experience when shopping in this branch of Boots on the 23rd May, 2025: I felt I was being profiled by a security guard. I am male, youngish to look at & dress casual. I paid for my items & as I was leaving the store, the only security personnel I could see came up right beside me, as though he was escorting me out of the place. He didn't say anything, but I told him that he was too close to me, as I left. Other customers were looking my way as this security person walked beside me. It was an embarrassing experience. I shouldn't feel this way when shopping. I have never stolen before and don't intend to now. Another reason to shop online with Amazon. Stuff you, Boots.

Eva was absolutely fantastic. She was so attentive not just to me but to other customers around the shop. She helped me to feel at ease and was very knowledgeable of the makeup products. She listened to what I wanted and helped me find the perfect things for me. I was very shy to ask for help and she made the whole experience so much better! Thank you Eva you were fab xxx

The shop has recently had a glow so visiting has become a weekly treat. I often collect my medication from there when my local pharmacy is closed and the staff are so lovely. I just wanted to mention Qudsia, who was able to help me find my medication despite the shortage. Honestly, she's such a vibe?

Boots brighton is a lovely well laid out store but unfortunately hav decided to replace checkouts to one manned & numerous self scan. Had to queue 10mins to pay on part gift card/part cash as cannot do this on self scan & only one person serving both till & self scans.
Her name is Donia & she was brilliant...smiling & apologising to all in queue for waiting time but this is totally unacceptable on a busy sunday afternoon.
Boots plz giv us back that personal touch as superdrug are winning your customers & i will be going more there in future.

This Boots is a huge store....loads of choice. They have Pharmacy, baby items, sun protection products, makeup counters, toiletries, travel products, photo station, free health check for over 40s, recycle section, meals, snacks, headphones, hair accessories and loads more. It is over two floors! Staff are busy but really helpful.
