Mowgli tells its customer this is real Indian food with no fillers but does it live up to its promise?
The restaurant has an absolute beautiful view when not blocked by the cars outside you can see through to the sea. It is lovely to look at the little Indian dwellings while seated in an airy restaurant. You are surrounded by ornate touches within a mostly white couple of rooms apart from the one wall of leaves which is a nod to the jungle. There is chilled ambient music which is tasteful and mainstream enough to be enjoyable to a varied crowd.
Service was impeccable. It was extremely attententive and polite. The waiters are gentle and seem to care whether you have enjoyed your meal. They are good at giving suggestions when there is debate about how much food to get or what to have. They kept the table clean in between courses which is not something all restaurants do.
The food is as promised proper Indian food with a beautiful mix of flavours and filler free. There definitely wasn't any watery curry. The food was perfect in size. We had Nepalese chicken, the Premier, pilau rice and nan bread and there was a good mix of sweet and savory and different textures to enjoy.
We had been before for food and it was so good we have return again. I had been dreaming of their full of flavour food since the last time I visited! They beat many curry places in London.

Visited recently and tried their biriyani ? the flavor was really enjoyable, and the rice was perfectly cooked. The spices were well balanced overall, but I felt the turmeric was a bit too strong and slightly overpowered the other rich flavors. Reducing it a little could make the dish even better.
Looking forward to visiting again and trying more items from the menu!

I loved everything about this place! For someone who has a picky palate, I was met with great food, great people, amazing atmosphere that bloomed into great conversations and memories I?m sure to revisit often.

Very bad food very expensive rip off money . Call them to say it was bad 5 people talk last one spoke good English at last and said can?t give refund unless you give full box back how can we give full box after put them in plates and eat only we can see the test without it I don?t know how test before eating

Mowgli Indian Restaurant is an absolute delight! The food is bursting with authentic flavors, beautifully presented, and perfect for sharing. The tandoori dishes and chef's spl vellata lamb is a must-try! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are friendly and attentive. A fantastic spot for a flavorful, feel-good meal. Highly recommend for a family or friends dine in.

I came here in January on New Years Day with my family and friends. I was blown away at the menu, and the execution of the dishes!wow what a show. I had the duck dish, which came out, set on fire in a show stopping delight! There's food here to suit everyone, I'm a seafood lover, and there was a fantastic selection of seafood dishes. The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. Great vibes here, and I'm looking forward to my next visit!Apologies this is late, but I've been meaning to write this review for ages!

Had a lovely meal at Mowgli before a show at De La Warr. Service was prompt, polite and efficient. Food was excellent. Will definitely return, highly recommend. Thank you for a nice evening.

Had a takeout for the first time after seeing such good reviews we wasn't disappointed. The flavours and ingredients were very fresh and tasty would definitely recommend.
Food wasn't oily or greasy just very enjoyable.
Will definitely be ordering again or maybe visit the restraunt.
Food was delivered on time and lovely and hot.

There are curry houses and then there is The Mowgli. It isn't your usual, run of the mill curry house, but an emporium of some of the finest cuisine inspired from Goa to Nepal. There were 5 in our party and we ordered a lot and shared around our dishes.For starters, I particularly loved the Goan Chilli Prawn starter, my wife had prawn puri and friends had sheek kebab, scallops and a mixed grill respectively. All were incredible. I loved the Goan Chilli Prawn so much I think I'll ask if I can have that as a main next time with King Prawns, it was the best starter I've ever had in a curry house. Main courses were equally good, I went for the North Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken, wife had a selection of sides such as saag aloo and oriental rice. Friends had a murg, and to be quite honest ive forgotten the other dishes. Poppadoms, onion bhaji naan breads and parathas were also perfect. Kingfisher and Cobra both on tap, good selection of wine and spirits too. Good atmosphere and great service too. This is not the cheapest place, but it does offer good value for money considering the quality of ingredients and unique items on the menu. A special place offering more than your average curry house
