Used this Chinese due to my favourite being closed on a Tuesday.
Made it very clear on phone that no onion in any of the dishes, she even repeated it back to me. All food came with onion in.
Lesson learnt for me
Uve replied back to me with the wrong order as well...we had 3-4 dishes that I stated no onion and all came with onion!

We have had great food and great service every time here and after a very disappointing hoi sin sauce at the dragon and peacock after using them for roughly 20 years we have switched to here. Highly recommend, especially the crispy duck.

What has happened to the food this used to be my favourite Chinese and is now my worst it was very bland the chicken balls were soggy the crispy chilli beef was dry not crispy at all the onions had been boiled very watery the soup was tasteless and very salty the chicken chow main tasted fishy the curry sauce is very sweet veg spring rolls were cold and soggy and the Singapore noodles were slimy
food ended up in the bin waste of money won?t be ordering from here again very disappointed

The curry had way to much onion in it. The spring rolls where very salty, and the Singapore rice noodle was too spicy. Will not be ordering again.

I used to rate this place and use often, during covid the prices went up, fair enough and then again hmm, I now use my local Sunwah but still said if you don't mind paying 25% more Hong Kong is the best.NOT anymore, steadily is been going down hill, I bought a meal from there recently and let's say it was bland and half the chicken balls were left, that never happens. Just had balls again and they are just as bad.Won't be going back again.If you are paying top money you should get top food.

Ordered food to be delivered and as Saturday night, we were advised 1 hour to deliver our order. Hadn't used this restaurant before, so was a little apprehensive. We shouldn't have worried, the order was delivered on time and the food was excellent. We will be repeat customers of Hong Kong House, well done!

Visited on a couple of occasions. Food tastes good, however on our most recent trip after explicitly telling the staff we were vegetarian over the phone we unknowingly received some pork dumplings instead of vegetable. Really really disappointed and upsetting. Having not eaten meat in over a decade made us unwell. If you?re vegetarian / vegan, avoid or approach with caution.

Avoid - save your money and go elsewhere. Salt and pepper chicken had no flavour other than plastic and was chewy like a rubber bands. Chicken in Fu Yung was grey. Maybe I have been spoiled by my usual Chinese (only used this one as usual is on holiday) but this was terrible and way below par. Waited 40 mins for collection opposed to the 20 mins I was advised. Took food back and was reluctantly given a refund. Never again!!
