Do not trust Halfords. I bought an electronic item and a couple of days later found it £20 cheaper elsewhere.
I logged a refund request in line with the price match on their website - good luck getting through to the phone number. Over a month later, they called and asked for a screenshot of the cheaper price to verify the claim. They had not asked for this at the time of the request and as it was a sale item, the price had gone back up. They know this for sure and use technicalities to avoid their website obligations and a delay of a month to get back to the customer.
My advice is never set foot in Halfords - they are not an honest retailer.
In response to their comment about correcting the error - I have contacted them again and surprisingly, they can?t put me in direct contact with the team who responded but had to log another case. This was not a quick process. They promised contact within 24 hours and that was 6 days ago. Just goes to show that they have no interest in sticking to any of their promises or refunding me the £20 they owe me. I stick with my original view that they should not be trusted and you should shop elsewhere

Recently returned by toolbox under warranty, Hannah made the process so easy with a very fast turn around, her and Ryan even helped me load the toolbox into my van which sounds a lot easier than it was? whoever seems this view at head office give Hannah the pay rise she deserves as she goes absolve and beyond to make customers happy. Thank you Hannah and Ryan ?
