I'm not the type compelled to write reviews on petrol stations, but I need to state that I hate that this is the only self-service car wash in the area; I wish we had better options.
The water leaves very opaque limescale on your car, even if you immediately hand-dry. Looks like you washed your car with milk. And that's if you come on a day when they're working.
However, this spot has lots of service lockers for postage, enough space, and decent EV ultra-rapid chargers. So it redeems itself, somewhat.

It's a petrol station, so other than having high fuel prices and exceptionally high food prices.. for the very small e-community I didn't see any electric charging points, so bear that in mind. I think the average fuelling stations can only be scored between a 1 & 3 due to the lack of anything good there ??

I stopped for costa late coffe ,the costa late coffe was just milk with water ,it was the worst late ever I did drink for 3,25 £,I drink 2 costa every day,did retake new and it the same ,don't know whats wrong with this costa machine,no more costa in this Esso! as this one!!

Very rude staff. Went there today, not a smile or a word broke on the servers face. The most effort he made was to tap on the card machine for payment.
He was frustrated at an error that he'd made telling the customer to go get him cash out of a machine went the customer wanted to pay by card - we won't be going back

Since the refurbishment, this fuel station has only got better, they've done a great job but I've always rated this place as I live close by and have seen it develop over the last 28 years. They coped admirably with the 'fuel crisis' despite abuse from members of the impatient public (unnecessary). The shop is smart, clean, tidy and well stocked. The staff, (all of them), are friendly and efficient and work hard. It's a much needed facility and much appreciated.

I went to a petrol station today to buy a vape, which was £3 more expensive than usual. My 15-year-old son was with me. The cashier a young looking boy, who was chatting on the phone, gave me the vape, which I handed to my son while I paid. Suddenly, the cashier caused a scene (in front of about 7 people), accusing me of buying it for my son. I told him that I wouldn?t let my 15-year-old use a vape. He was muttering something under his breath which I asked him what he was saying, of course he didn?t say. In the end, I returned the vape and got a refund. The cashier clearly needs more people training skills as he?s always rude and always on the phone. Won?t be using this place again..
