My husband bought two Daily Mails, plus a couple of other bits, and said no to a receipt, saying it wasn?t worth it.
When we opened the paper at home, there was no TV magazine.. I phoned the shop, and they said they had 50 papers, with only 45 having the magazines in them. I said we couldn?t come down again, as their car park was icy. They said no-one could leave the store to bring them up. One paper was for a neighbour, who can?t get out.
The neighbour?s Grandaughter went down there and told them the situation, and they said she couldn?t have any without a receipt, even though I had phoned them earlier, and told them.
If they knew the magazines were missing, why put the empty papers out for sale, or, they should have made it obvious about the situation?
Bad customer service.

I sometimes use the Seaborne Road for deliveries. The fresh fruit and veg are not !Today I have received badly bruised rotten bananas in a sweaty bag .Clearly been chosen from the dumping bin and very past their sell by date Unwaxed Lemons .In a bag of 4 two have gone in the most of the bananas.
This is not a one off . I think the staff take the view that any old tat can go in the bag when it?s a delivery.
