Stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room had a gorgeous view overlooking the countryside, along with a comfortable bed and amazing shower. We also had a wonderful dinner - the waiter was very knowledgeable of local wines and his recommendations were fantastic.

We booked a table of 11 for a family roast a couple of days ago, two of our party were non verbal autistic children and m they went above and beyond! The space was perfect, the children could run around or be in ?the hide? which is where we were put, a lovely separate space with views over the hills. The food was incredible and knowing it was farm to table made it even better! Not a crumb was left from anyone! Absolutely delicious and our waiter was fab too! Super knowledgeable and gracious! Highly recommend ?

We had an amazing dinner at the White Hart the other day. Great service, great food and good wine list. Would definitely return if we lived locally. Excellent views as well ?

We gave this great pub a try and it was well worth it. They had a select menu, but the meat was amazing, best we've had in a long time. The Ribs were meaty and the pork steak tender, both flavourful. Great prices, lovely inside and out and a gorgeous view. We will be back!

Having read a recent negative review (Koch by name Koch by nature) I was expecting eye watering prices and rude service but this couldn't be further from the truth.
We just popped in after a lovely walk near to post-lunch closing time and enjoyed a couple pints of Asahi (£6). Didn't have time to eat but would return as it seems a quality well run pub in a stunning location.

Two day ago my wife and I went to the White Hart in Netherfield.
And what a disaster it was. We got there at about 2.40pm it was empty apart from one couple who left soon after we arrived.
I ordered one pint oh Harvey?s, a large glass of Sauvignon blank and two ramekin of peanuts. It came to £25.80
Somewhat surprised of the amount charged I said, in light hearted manner, I'm not surprised the Pub is empty.
Anyway we sat down and my wife and I discussed the amount we paid. Not loud not in a derogatory manner, just a quiet conversation with my wife. We are local and normally we pay about £15 to £17 for the same. Unbeknown to us, the bar man was eavesdropping on us.
A few minutes later he suddenly appeared in front of us, accusing us slugging off the Pub. Ripping the pint from my lips and the glass of wine from my wife, throwing £25 on the table and asking us to leave.
First of all this was a private conversation with the barman eavesdropping on us with nobody else nearby. In fact the Pub was empty.
I have lived in the area on and off for some 40 years and I will make sure that every Pub and everyone else knows about this disgusting behaviour.

This used to be our favourite place to stop by. Been here many times over the years. It seems to have changed management. Unfortunately last time we came on a Sunday we were turned away and told the bar was closed, despite opening hours online showing til 6pm on a Sunday and we arrived at 5pm. We had specifically checked. Not a warm welcome and yet the pub garden was full of people drinking. This seemed very odd. My sister uses a wheelchair and doesn't get out much. This was one of the accessible places she is able to go to with a pub garden and nice view. The staff were quite unhelpful and not apologetic as we'd already taken the trouble to get the wheelchair out of the car. We were sent down the road and she couldn't access that pub or garden. We would have just gone home after the dog walk if we knew the pub was closed at 5 not 6. Watch out as the hours seem variable.

early sunday dinner - lovely atmosphere, very small and quaint! quite a slow service, but for a sunday dinner, it?s expected. the food was delicious! the scallop starter was so different and refreshing, would definitely recommend it! the outside area is beautiful with nearby horses, when the sun is out, it?s the place to be!

Really disappointed with the service and experience there today. Admittedly I made a mistake in booking the wrong ?White Hart? but the encounter with (who we thought) was the land lord was incredibly disappointing. Very unwelcoming, could have made an accommodation for us having traveled so far despite the mix up - by being gracious but instead chose to not care, swear under his breath and basically chastise us for coming in the wrong pub. Such a shame as he/they left 7 locals and 2 out of towners with a bad taste who will now share this story a lot.
