Spent a couple of hours here for an evening meal and drinks with friends. Menu is decent pub grub, and a big enough selection to keep everyone happy (party of 12).

Came along on a Saturday evening and was really happy with the service. The food was really good, we had the Pork Belly, gammon and burger followed by 2 desserts of strudel and sticky toffee and everything was really tasty. Will look forward to coming back real soon.

Rude older staff aimed annoyance towards my 88 year old dad.
My dad has mobility issues, hard of hearing and lives with cancer.
We all ordered our food @ 13.15 hours ( table of six ) dads food didn't come out until 14.30hrs. He was very loudly, publicly accused of not even ordering his food by the older male waiter and my dad ate on his own @ 14.30 hrs.
A four generations early fathers day meal ruined!

Great traditional pub with good ale and good food, just don't expect silver service. Service is good and staff are very friendly. Keeps traditional pub hours. COVID safe.

Lovely! Very friendly, great service. Very dog friendly. The belly pork was amazing! Reasonable prices as well. Would recommend.
