Spent a couple of hours here for an evening meal and drinks with friends. Menu is decent pub grub, and a big enough selection to keep everyone happy (party of 12).

Came along on a Saturday evening and was really happy with the service. The food was really good, we had the Pork Belly, gammon and burger followed by 2 desserts of strudel and sticky toffee and everything was really tasty. Will look forward to coming back real soon.
Lovely pub and restaurant set on the outskirts of Battle with a carpark and rear pub garden. We pride ourselves in offering freshly cooked pub food with vegetarian and vegan options and are pleased to have a great reputation for our delicious Sunday roasts. Internally we have a bar, restaurant, separate function room and skittle alley. We are dog and child friendly, we even offer dog dinners. The Black Horse welcomes larger groups with catering available for parties, group meetings and wakes. We look forward to welcoming you!
