Such a wonderful lovely pub, incredibly accommodating, they had a burst waterpipe in the area and we had booked in for food, so there wasn't anything on offer due to the water main, but allowed us to order in because we had walked so far to get there! Really lovely selection of drinks. Lovely environment too, thank you!

We visited on the 30/8 for lunch, the staff left a message on my phone apologising that there was a burst water main in the area so they could only offer sandwiches and ploughmans. No need to apologise not your fault at all!! We both had drinks and a ploughmans, all served with a smile. We couldn?t fault any of it. Lost count of how many people came in asking the staff how long it will take for the main to be repaired, like they?re meant to know. All the staff who worked that day need a bonus!

Such a friendly team made us so welcome for a post walk lunch on my birthday on Bank Holiday Monday. We enjoyed various dishes including the burger, the burrito salad, frango chicken burger, chicken caesar salad, all were excellent. We appreciated the local beers too.

My wife and I visited the week before last on two occasions and as usual were delighted. This pub has it all; excellent food (good vegan/vegetarian options,) wonderful atmosphere (bright and airy in the summer, snug and cosy in the winter) and of course the superb Longmans beer. In addition the service is friendly, courteous and attentive without being intrusive or excessive. I have been coming here for at least 35 years and the standard never falters.
Vegetarian options: There is a decent range of vegan and vegetarian options.

A lovely village pub with a reasonable menu and fine ales. Nice inside or in their garden out the back. Warmly recommend it.

It's a lovely old pub with awesome service! The food is great and well worth the price. Making a trip out is recommended as is booking in advance. Local beer/ ale hasn't had far to travel, and I hear it's good, but I don't drink. Sometimes, they have live music on a Friday night.
Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately it's an old building that can't make accommodations for wheelchairs. The beer garden does have access but it's only during the summer months.
