We went for a meal here as a family while on holiday. Food was lovely and well priced. Staff are friendly. Was nice having low background music so that you could talk without having to shout.

Eat here often on a budget. Staff are good, yes the place could do with a revamp if I am been critical but the sunday roast, hot beef with gravy sandwhich and 1/2 cheese burger are all very large, good home comfort meals which I like very much.

Warm welcome, friendly staff and....AMAZING FOOD! Homemade steak and ale pie with the richest gravy ever! The biggest mixed grill I've ever seen! The tastiest pork chops! And all averaged out at a tenner each! Tasty food and a fantastic price!

Ordered at Five and took three quarters of an hour to come and was gristle and no peppercorn sauce and over done chips

Great find. Lovely little local, cheap food and drinks, welcoming, helpful, great with kids. Atmosphere was my cuppa tea . Kids enjoyed food. Fed a family of 4 with drinks for £50! Bargain.

We have eaten here twice now and all staff and fellow customers were friendly and welcoming.
I had a mixed grill on my first visit and my mum had a steak baguette. A big plate of quality meat and my mum was impressed with her baguette.
Went again for my mum's birthday and had amazing steaks and my dad having pork chops. Very generous servings and we all had empty plates at the end.
Only negative was the bottle of prosecco. Would have been nice to be in an ice bucket but that's just me being picky.
