Correction. Very long waiting time just for a cuppa and some biscuits. Coffee got cold by the time biscuits arrived.
Still good selection of locally made food. Tasty coffee in the coffee shop, which makes shopping even more pleasant.

Just walked out. Waited 20 minutes for our coffees to be brought to the table only for the staff to tell us they hadn?t ordered them.
Also in the shop, Myself and another gentleman were ignored at the till until we requested to be served by the staff member, who was at the other end of the counter doing paperwork.

We only stopped because we saw the signs for food and doggy ice cream. And so glad we did. Beautiful restaurant with extremely friendly staff and our dog can sit at the table with us. A year ago I would have said the prices were a bit steep, but now I would say they were average, the food is excellent and you get very good portions, I was disappointed with the price of a large rose! £9?.. we all know how much a bottle of wine costs at a wholesaler and we understand that you have to make a profit but that is outrageous. Anyway the lovely girl that served us was cheery and bright and she told us she loved her job, I can see why. The farm shop was amazing, too much to list. Go and have a look for yourself.
It?s an hours ride for us, we will be back.

Called for lunch and had the fish platter, was fabulous, so well presented, fresh and delicious. Followed by a piece of cake and a cuppa, such a lovely relaxing lunch. The staff were most helpful and very friendly. It?s always wise to book, there is some building work going but this didn?t detract from the experience and service.

Afternoon Tea voucher received as a present. Booking system was good. However, on the day of the visit was not very impressed. Once seated sat for quite a while waiting for someone to ask us what we wanted to drink. Savouries we're good but the scones were very small and heavy, with a piece of batten burg and three very small quite sickly cakes/tarts so didn't feel very good value for money. Small cup of coffee provided but was unclear if had to pay for an extra cup. Nobody asked for voucher so mistakenly brought it back with me. So have been chased up by phone and asked to drop it in sometime. Told the caller I was disappointed with the afternoon tea and wouldn't be coming back but didn't even bother to ask why I was disappointed, hence this review.

Great shop, all sorts of cheeses & pastries, Christmas stuff is in now in. Had lovely walk & then went into farm shop, lovely Day out. Farm shop has lots of lovely produce at reasonable prices. It also has a butchers as well with lots of unusual meat produce. The restraunt there is fantastic with plenty of selection but you should book a table as it get busy. The restraunt also sells achohol.

Driving around aimlessly on lovely Sunday lunchtime, looking for somewhere different, somewhere we haven?t been before.
Well a quick google suggested Drewton?s Farm Shop as we were nearby.
Well? we sure were not disappointed, in fact we were blown away with just how big the place is, didn?t realise it is an estate!
The place can cater for probably all occasions. Tea rooms, restaurants, corporate, weddings, amazing form shop that just about has everything & the quality is amazing. Spent a few quid in that shop!
In the end we settled for a nice fresh coffee & a slice of caramel cake?
I?m sure I?ve only scratched the surface of what Drewton?s has to offer.
Ho? and all the staff were very welcoming & polite.
If you?re around the York/Hull or nearby, a visit is a must.
I think for food it may be worth booking as it was quite busy.
If not you can always grab a coffee & a side dish of pastry.

Really liked me first visit. Arrived by 0930 and tried to push e outside. It was a little chilly and light rain. So I went inside. Good quality food I had the Shawarm which was very tasty. Good service
