Nice place with nice grounds and pleasant rooms. Loved the siutes of armour by the entrance all very medieval. Food was pretty good too. Staff were polite and attentive in the restaurant although they seemed really rushed as it was a full house that evening and things came out of the kitchen in a drip feeds. No Major issue and it happens when its busy and it didn't detract from our evening.

Just had our dream wedding here!
From start to finish Laura our wedding planner was amazing! And on the day all the staff was lovely and made sure we was ok throughout the day

And the next day enjoyed a spa day with a massage which was so needed

Absolutely disgusted, please consider using silent fireworks in future, two dogs were killed at the weekend, spooked by the fireworks, they were that loud, they could be heard in north cave, not everyone has face book, and see?s the notifications, the castle is in a built up area, and at 10pm at night!

Continues to allow fireworks at events despite residents asking them not to. This has now caused the death of TWO much loved family pets on the same weekend and the owners response is it?s not their issue as couples book the fireworks separately.
A good effort a shirking responsibility and accountability but it doesn?t stand up - as the venue YOU are responsible for what happens on site and what you allow. You?ve been asked and warned so many times over the risk of those hideously loud fireworks yet still you continue in flagrant contempt of local residents.

I booked this hotel specifically because it clearly stated that dogs were allowed. Shortly after, I received a call saying no rooms available actually accepted pets, and my reservation was cancelled. This is misleading advertising and shows a lack of consideration for travelers with animals. If pets are not allowed in all rooms, that should be clearly stated at the time of booking. Very disappointed.

I?d expected better gym facilities given the area but the selection of equipment was disappointing and the booking system for classes is impossible. When I asked about the possibility of booking classes without having to ring the staff member was oddly rude.
Hallways are shabby and difficult to navigate.

Nice food. Clean .Staff friendly I've been using the hotel for 3 years staying 100 + nights as I've been working in Hull .today it was my birthday so my wife rang the hotel a said it was my birthday could they do something. Well what a surprise balloons, party popper and staff sang happy birthday and couldn't do enough to make sure my evening was nice .would highly recommend

Had an engagement party with 18 people - staff was excellent and very accommodating, venue was well furnished and easy to access with beautiful building and surroundings, food was great. Much nicer and more welcoming than a lot of similar places. We warmly recommend it.

Really nice hotel with beautiful gardens and a golf course. Breakfast is exceptional. The decoration in the hotel is like in a museum. Even though it originally is an estate it does give you that castle vibe.

One Star ? Poor Facilities and Dismal Customer Service
I?ve been a member at Cave Castle?s gym for some time, and unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing.
The gym itself is extremely small with limited, outdated equipment?there are only four treadmills, and much of the machinery is clearly past its prime. The pool also has recurring issues with temperature, which makes it unreliable at best.
The class booking system is frustratingly outdated. Members are expected to call at 6am by phone just to have a chance of securing a spot. Even then, classes are frequently overbooked, leaving barely enough room in the studio to participate properly.
Customer service is practically non-existent. When I wasn?t informed about a class cancellation, I raised the issue with management and was told that they don?t offer compensation because ?sometimes members lie.? I was also accused of ?making a mountain out of a molehill.? This kind of dismissive and condescending attitude from the general manager is completely unacceptable.
Overall, Cave Castle falls far short of providing the quality or respect paying members should expect. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a well-managed, professional gym or hotel experience.
