It?s a long time since I last visited The Nags Head but I was pleasantly surprised
We vigorously Sunday Lunch at around 4.40pm
The pub was not over busy at this time and we found a table easily
We ate inside but there is a covered outdoor area as well It?s good for children as there is an outside garden with slides and swings.
The pub is very clean the staff friendly and the service is good
A traditional pub that made us feel welcome
I ordered the large pork dinner which I found was very large and in fact too much for me. I will get the medium sized on my next visit
The food was hot and tasty and the pork was lean and tender At £13.95 I thought it was very good value
There is a good selection of beers and I had John Smiths smooth was was great
On the walls were ads for upcoming events and the pub seems to be well run and pro-active
I would certainly recommend The Nags Head and will visit again

The food is great, whatever i have had, the sunday dinner is lovely, they do a small which is just the right size for me and you get a choice of which meat you want. The inside is quite small compared to some pubs, not too big, you can sit outside, There is always room though when we have gone. Its in a small villiage called Preston on the outskirts of Hull. Friendly people. If i can add photos later i will as im sure we will be there again soon.

Been today for lunch with my sisters, the lasagna was amazing , excellent value , and full of flavour , same for the desserts. Also the staff are so friendly and helpful , was a really enjoyable day , thank you

Visited on Saturday. Been coming here for over 30 years and food has never changed and still never disappoints. Curry and Steak pie are two of my favourites. Just wish Toffee lumpy bumpy would come back

What a fantastic place. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Awesome food and drinks. I Come hear every week. One of the best pubs around. The staff are absolutely awesome, the food fantastic and such a lovely setting and atmosphere.
Look for Jennie and Jess, they are the heart and soul of the place and the reason for my many MANY visits x

Only us in bar, we had the dog with us. Staff very polite and chatty. Food was hot and tasty.

Can not comment much on food as only called in for a drink but seeing what others had ordered it smelled and looked very nice ,really well run pub loverly located with a great beer garden with plenty of parking .

We went just on the of chance of getting some dinner as not booked because we were passing and tell you what a brilliant Sunday roast we both had I had a large as I have a good appetite better half had standard was well impressed with the size of the meal and the lovely tasty food and six slices of beef with was cooked to perfection. Thank you nags head we will definitely be back . 10 0ut of 10..

Excellent food as always and fabulous Easter decorations. Playground accessible but ready for brush up for summer as few of the swings all broken but sure will be ready for the warm weather.Kid-friendliness: Great play area generally looks a bit tired due to harsh winter but is generally all done up for Summer season. Plenty of space for children to play safely. Lots of seating in play area as well.
