I avoid this garage because the petrol price is higher than driving 5 mins down the road towards York sometimes by 5p a litre (!). But the real kicker is every time I've had to speak to staff they are rude or grumpy unless I am just paying. One of the night staff even lied to me about what they sell or they just couldn't be bothered to check (I went in the next morning and it was there). Groceries are also more expensive than literally any other local alternative.

The worst service ever by the nudest member off staff at around Midnight for a coffee her and what seemed to be her boyfriend seemed to be having a demestic I had the ordasity to order a coffee was told she was cleaning the machine i could clearly see the machines where all on so I left you lose there was other stuff i was ordering aswell management needs to get a grip off there night shift

Decided to use the carwash at the pocklington service station today, only to be told that it was only contactless and the machine was broken. I felt it was very poor customer service because I felt that I wasted my time waiting in line.

Nice garage with well stocked shop,some of staff are a bit miserable but bloke who works there think he's called Aden is really nice and polite.hes a credit to the company.

The lady who was working last night, Megan, has for the last time told me the Coffee machine is not working or is being cleaned. This is the third time ive experienced this with this one particular lady. The other night shift worker is always very helpful as are all other 24 hour service stations between Hull and Harrogate, only this one and only this particular lady wont move herself to the Coffee Machine. I will never use this station again.

Wonderful selection of food and drink, the best petrol station in the region and i go to pretty much all of them for work. And a thank you to the lovely manager caroline that orders the large selection of food

The shop it's self is good, but....... I used to go in most days but now I'm sick of queing for 10 minutes every time I go in. There's always colleagues walking around or stood behind the till not doing anything while 1 person serves 10 people. The other colleagues don't even look embarrassed that there's a load of people stood there waiting ages while they do nothing about it. Only go in this place if you have plenty of time on your hands. If you're in a rush then avoid at all costsI was also told in there today that the protien shakes are supposed to be warm in the fridges because the chillers are on a timer. ?? (the chiller was down and not running at 7am) she looked at me like I was stupid because I wanted my milk cold. It was the same lady that was swearing at that other customer in the video. Its almost laughable. It's the Karen's diner of petrol stations.

Shell is probably the most expensive when it comes to fuel and ready food. Despite that I would come occasionally to refuel and eat something as they always have fairly clean toilets you can use. Not any more! The toilet is closed due to a misuse. Not sure why everyone has to pay the price for someone who clearly doesn't know how to use it.
But closing toilets for everyone isn't the solution. Shame on you Shell.

Absolutely ridiculous!The company makes 22.3bn in profit, but can't afford to keep the toilet facilities open.Shame on you Shell. And please, do not post excuses that it's not up to Shell, but independent owners... People are not stupid and know what a franchise means. There are rules to follow, and you set those.

The normal minimum petrol dispensed is 2 litres, which makes it fine for us scooter users with small tanks. As my Suzuki scooter only has 5 litre tank, the Shell minimum of 5 litres means my bike would have to be totally empty to fill up! Please Shell UK change the minimum dispensed at your locations to 2 litres found elsewhere. Unable to use this garage!!!
