Lovely café, excellent choice of food desserts, cakes.
Please be aware though the menu prices displayed are taken away prices !!! Which we found misleading, sorry but this is not normal practice

We popped in for lunch today, the food was good although a little expensive but the girl on the till was continually touching her nose and twiddling her nose ring round, I did ask who made the sandwiches because I didn't want her making mine because of this, she said I have hayfever and don't even work on the food, sorry, quite sarcastically, I have owned a catering business and employed several people up to my retirement so I do know what's expected in a catering establishment, it has put me off visiting again

Me and my husband came today for an early lunch. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and staff were so friendly. A lovely little gem of a place.

Got a couple of cheese cake Easter eggs quite expensive for what they were the cheese cake was very claggy and thick and sweet the biscuits base was just crumbs at the bottom of the Easter egg couldn't eat it so the cheese cake was binned ate the egg which was a costly one

Dropped by here just as they were begining to close for the day. Very accommodating, we had drinks in takeaway cups but they took pity on us and let us stay in until closing time. Cakes looked lovely and we will.definately go back for lunch at some point.

If they put their prices online I would have not visited. An Americano and a ham and cheese toastie nearly twelve pounds! For that price I am used to choosing what type of bread it comes with? Sourdough or granary etc but it came on some bread that was just meh, a small handful of crisps and a rocket salad. Nothing special, the coffee was very weak IMO and tasted rather drip coffee. The cakes did look delicious but again the prices were astronomical. Perhaps they?re specialists and cater to a niche market? If you?re planing to go with two or three friends expect to part with fifty to sixty pounds for a coffee and/ or cake or toastie. I didn?t notice how much the jacket potatoes were but I?ll have a guess they?re not reasonably priced.

Waited for 25 minutes on an espresso, cold quiche and cheese toastie.No update from waitress,having to ask myself where the food was. Food handled with bare hands which is borderline disgusting. Unhygienic. Disappointed

fantastic little cafe, booked festive afternoon tea for 6 of us, the staff were wonderful, very attentive, the food was amazing, when we booked we were quoted £20 per head, we gave our host our £20 and she went to the counter with our £120. when she didn't come back we went up to see if there was a problem only to find a member of staff arguing we have to pay £25 each, apparently the festive menu is £5 more for a mince pie instead of a scone and a paper cracker, so what was a wonderful afternoon ended with an argument over money when we clearly had a text confirming booking and price. arguing with a customer in a cafe full of customers isn't recommended, we should have been regaling our wonderful visit but now we are talking about the embarrassing ending. staff training needed

Wow wow wow compliments to wonderful lady who makes the delicious QUEECHES absolutely perfect and the cakes are to die for we will definitely be back every week for ever
